WWE Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash was recently interviewed by Sports Illustratedâs âExtra Mustardâ blog.
Below are the key highlights:
Focusing on his acting career:
âI take every role, whether itâs a line or more, and try to make it my own. All these people talk about the secret to acting. To me, itâs once you find the character, like Engleheart in âThe Longest Yard.â I could turn that character on morning, noon, and night. Thatâs the keyâfinding the character.â
âIâve had a career in wrestling, and this is the next area where Iâm determined to be successful. You have to be realistic and know that youâre just going to be a character actor. Youâre not going to be a lead, youâre not going to be doing romantic comedies, but there is plenty of work out there.â
Still being amazed by The Undertaker:
âThereâs a reason why, right now, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson are out touring. People want the drama. When guys are kicking out of 450-fââ moonsaults on one-and-a-half, whatâs the false finish? There are so few storytellers left, but âTaker can go out there and tell a story.â
One more WWE run:
âI have one more run. Iâm started to get things fixed. Iâm getting my shoulder fixed, Iâm getting my neck fixed. I miss it, so never say never.â
