- In 1994, Reso enrolled in a wrestling school at Sully's Gym, ran by Ron Hutchinson

- Christian's wrestling career began in June 1995

- It was during this time he met his life long friend Adam Copeland (Edge)

- Copeland and Reso were known as "High Impact" and later "The Suicide Blondes"

- After completing the training at  Dory Funk, Jr.’s "Funkin' Conservatory" Reso signed a contract with the WWF.

- Christian made his WWF debut on September 27, 1998 at the In Your House: Breakdown PPV distracting Edge during his match against Owen Hart to reveal his allegiance to Gangrel.

- He won the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship in his debut match defeating Taka Michinoku at  Judgment Day: In Your House 1998.

- He formed an alliance with Gangrel and Edge know as The Brood and later joined the Ministry of Darkness however he returned to The Brood not long after.

- In 1999, Christian and Edge parted ways with Gangrel who left to manage  The Hardy Boyz. This set up one of the most memorable fueds in tag team wrestling history.

- During their fued with The Hardy Boyz Edge and Christian they had the first ever Tag Team Ladder Match. Christian and Edge went on to compete in several TLC Matches.

- Christian betrayed Edge in 2001 leading to a fued for the WWF Intercontinental Championship

- Chrisitan singles career was in full flow he won the WWF European Championship in October 2001 and the WWF Hardcore Championship in 2002

- Christian joined Lance Cade and created the team known as the The Un-Americans

- The Un-Americans went onto win the WWE Tag Team Championship

- In 2003 Christian took on a new look with shorter hair and now called his fans "Peeps" by 2004 Christian was known as "Captain Charisma"

- Christian participated in the first-ever Money in the Bank ladder match at the WrestleMania 21 PPV event on April 3, 2005

- Reso's contract with WWE expired on October 31 and he declined to sign a new one. He finished with WWE in early November 2005.

- Once Chrisitian had left the WWE he changed his nickname to "The Instant Classic"

- Reso made his debut in the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on November 13, 2005

- Cage went on to defeat then-NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jarrett for the title on February 12, 2006 at TNA's Against All Odds PPV event.

- Cage went onto fued with Rhino, Sting and Abyss and brought in Tomko who he worked with in the WWE

- In 2007 he created the  Christian's Coalition

- On the November 13, 2008 episode of Impact!, Cage had his final appearance in TNA before his contract expired

- Chrisitan returned to the independant scene and compeated for One Pro Wrestling (1PW) and Ring of Honor (ROH)

- Christian returned to WWE's ECW on February 10, 2009 confronting then-ECW Champion Jack Swagger.

- Christian defeated Swagger to win the ECW Championship at WWE's Backlash PPV event on April 26, 2009

- on August 4th 2009 Christian retained the ECW Championship title against Tommy Dreamer in a Extreme Rules Match.

- Christian became the longest reigning WWE-era ECW Champion in late-December 2009.

- At the 2010 Royal Rumble Christian successfully defeated Ezekiel Jackson to retain the ECW Championship Ttitle.

- On February 16, 2010, Christian dropped the ECW Championship in an Extreme Rules match to Jackson on the final episode of ECW.

- On February 22 2010 Christian re-signed with Raw.

- That same night he defeated Carlito to grant him a spot at Ladder In The Bank match at wrestlemania 26.

- February 2010 it was announced that Christian would be a pro for NXT brand mentoring Heath Slater.

- On April 26 2010 Christian was Drafted to Smackdown.
