According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, WWE officials are aware of the fact that their last two Men's Money in the Bank contract winners (Baron Corbin in 2017 and Braun Strowman in 2018) did not exactly benefit in the long run from being MITB contract winners, so there is some talk within WWE Creative that whoever wins it this year needs to be pushed as a top-level Superstar.
Here is the report from WrestleVotes:
"Strong push within the creative team to really have this years men’s Money In The Bank winner coming out of the whole process looking like a STAR. The feeling backstage is that they have completely blown the winners & cash ins the last 2 years."
