Longtime Puroresu Veteran Takashi Iizuka Retiring Next Month

It's been announced that longtime Puroresu veteran Takashi Iizuka will be retiring from in-ring competition next month. The 52-year-old Iizuka is a former Pro Wrestling NOAH Global Honored Crown Tag Team Champion, as well as a three-time New Japan Pro Wrestling International Wrestling Grand Prix World Tag Team Champion.

Iizuka has been competing in Japan for well over 30 years, as he originally made his debut in 1986 after being trained in the legendary NJPW Dojo. Outside of Japan, he competed throughout Europe in the early 1990s, and also made one appearance for World Championship Wrestling in the U.S. at WrestleWar 1992.
