Current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has officially re-entered the USADA drug testing pool following his appearance at UFC 226 this past weekend.
Due to re-entering, Lesnar will be forced to wait six months before he will officially be eligible to compete in the UFC. This means that Lesnar will be able to begin competing for the promotion beginning in January 2019, with his next fight being against new UFC Heavyweight and Lightweight Champion Daniel Cormier.
USADA has also issued the following statement regarding Lesnar re-entering the drug testing pool:
”After receiving notice of his intent to compete in the UFC, USADA re-entered Brock Lesnar to the testing pool on July 3. With six months and four days remaining on his period of ineligibility, Lesnar will be able to compete on or after January 8, 2019, should he remain in compliance with the UFC Anti-Doping Policy.”
