Mick Foley Reveals What Vince McMahon Told Him After Hell In A Cell Match In 1998 Against Undertaker

Mick Foley appeared on Talk Is Jericho fairly recently, and had revealed what Vince McMahon said to him after the match was done and over.

He took two awful bumps during the match off the cell. The first bump was onto the announce table, and many widely regarded it the most death-defying although anyone who has ever taken a bump in a WWE ring. Foley earned mad respect after that. His second bump he took as he fell through the cell and went crashing to the mat below.

"I went into sell-mode and I went, 'if I'm gonna drop an elbow off there and someone's gonna move you would probably -- I didn't say probably, 'you would let me do that, right?' You know it's leading the question and he goes, 'I guess.' I said, 'it's the same thing I'm in total control' and then Taker looked at me and said, 'you've been up there right?'

I said, 'absolutely' and both he and Vince said, 'you feel comfortable?' I said, 'yeah absolutely.' The truth was if I had gone on top of that cell... no way."

As to what Vince said after the match was done

"You have no idea how much I appreciate what you have just done for this company but I never wanna see anything like that again."
