SPOILER: Main Event Officially Set For WWE NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia

WARNING: The following post contains spoilers from the recent set of WWE NXT television tapings, which have yet to air on the WWE Network. If you do not wish to know what happens ahead of time, please do not read any further.

During Wednesday night's set of WWE NXT television tapings, it was determined that Andrade "Cien" Almas will defend the NXT Championship against Johnny Gargano at January's NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia event.

Gargano became the new number-one contender for the title by defeating Killian Dain, Lars Sullivan, and Aleister Black in a Fatal 4 Way Match during the tapings. The match was set up through a series of singles matches after it was determined that former champion Drew McIntyre would be unable to compete at TakeOver: Philadelphia due to injury.
