Former WWE Jobber Johnny K-9 Passes Away Aged 53

The Hamilton Spectator is reporting the death of John Croitoru, better known to wrestling fans as Johnny K-9 and Bruiser Bedlam. Croitoru worked Stampede Wrestling, and later wrestled for New Japan Pro Wrestling, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). He wrestled as a jobber in the WWF from 1985-89.

Details of Croitoru's death are not clear although it is known that he died aged 53 in a halfway house in Toronto after not long being released from prison in British Columbia after being sentenced for conspiracy commit murder as a part of a 2008 gang war, and conspiring to traffic in cocaine and marijuana.

He leaves behind a wife and three children.
