MONDAY NIGHT RAW - DECEMBER 5, 2016

Welcome to Monday Night Raw. We kick things off and Seth Rollins comes out to address Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho's friendship. Owens says friends sometimes fight and everything is fine with them and he got Jericho gifts

Rollins says Owens was handed the championship. Owens says he wasn't handed the title he deserves it and last week Roman Reigns beat Owens because of Rollins and says he lost because he was concerned about his best friend and he's a fighting champion. Rollins challenges Owens to put the title up tonight

Owens says no he put it up 2 weeks ago and beat Rollins. He has a match tonight against Sami Zayn and he's already defending against Roman Reigns at Roadblock. Owens addresses the gifts he got for Jericho the first being the opportunity to become new US Champion when he faces Roman Reigns and the second gift is Jericho will be able to get his revenge on Rollins at Roadblock

Owens says that brings him to the third present and that's the match Rollins will have next against his opponent....The Big Show. That takes us to our first break

BIG SHOW VS SETH ROLLINS

Show shoves Rollins to the mat. Rollins comes back with a kick. Rollins off the ropes and Show floors him with a shoulder tackle. Giant chop by Show.

Irish whip in the corner. Show crushes Rollins in the corner. Rollins goes after the legs taking Show down. Show to the outside. Suicide dive by Rollins and Show throws him into the barricade.

Rollins is rolled back into the ring. Show signals for the chokeslam but Rollins goes back to the knees with kicks and a DDT to Show. Rollins with a kick to the jaw. Knee to the side of the face. Rollins off the top rope and Show staggering. Dropkick from Rollins finally floors Show

Rollins looks for a pedigree. Show counters with a backdrop. Owens up on the apron yelling for Show to finish Rollins. Show grabs Owens by the throat and chokeslams him. Show exits the ring leaving Owens to Rollins

Post Match: Rollins lays Owens out pedigree

Tonight: US Championship - Roman Reigns vs Chris Jericho

JACK GALLAGHER VS ARIYA DAIVARI

High flying moves from Gallagher keeping Daivari off his feet. Daivari hangs Gallagher out on the top rope unloading with punches and kicks.

Side headlock by Daivari. Gallagher counters a slam connecting with a dropkick. Headbutt to Daivari. Running dropkick in the corner and a cover for the three count

The winner of the match: Jack Gallagher

Post Match: Gallagher extends his hand and Daivari kicks him and goes after the knee taking Gallagher out with a chop block

Backstage:  Titus O'Neil is promoting the Titus Brand

Backstage: Mick Foley confirms Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens. Owens then runs into Chris Jericho and tells him about all the great matches he set up

Backstage: Enzo is talking with Lana and Lana tells him she thinks Rusec doesn't really appreciate her and maybe if he saw another man appreciates her he wouldn't take her for granted and invites Enzo to her hotel room

SAMI ZAYN CS KEVIN OWENS

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens renew their rivalry. Going after each other right out of the gate. Zayn gets the upperhand but Owens quickly turns it around sending Zayn to the outside. Owens with a dive over the ropes onto Zayn. Zayn is rolled back into the ring and Zayn sends Owens to the outside taking him out with a dive of his own as Raw goes to break

-Commercial-

Back from break, Owens with a chinlock and Zayn gets to his feet. Clothesline to Owens, Tornado DDT and suplex by Zayn. Owens is seated on the top rope

Zayn hooks Owens up but Owens counters a superplex. Owens with a cannonball in the corner. A second one hits its mark. Exploder suplex countered by Owens

Zayn counters a pop up powerbomb and executes another Tornado DDt. Helluva Kick countered with a superkick. Another suplex followed up by the exploder. Zayn with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Zayn in still in control but Owens pulls out a pop up powerbomb for the three count

Backstage: Roman Reigns walks into Jericho's locker room and wonders if tonight is Jericho's match or if he's just doing Owens' dirty work....again

Backstage: Sasha says she dislikes Charlotte as a person but as a competitor Charlotte brings out the best in her and challenges Charlotte to an Iron Man Match at Roadblock: End Of The Line

RICH SWANN VS TJ PERKINS

They lock up and Perkins with a side head lock. Perkins with a wrist lock and Swann with a reversal. Perkins with a reversal and head scissors take down and drop kick. They lock up again and Perkins with a shoulder tackle. Swann flips over Perkins and hits a drop kick. Swann mocks Perkins. Swann with an arm drag and then Swann uses the ropes on an arm drag. Swann with clotheslines and a back heel kick and a double stomp to the back for a near fall. Swann with a suplex and he gets a near fall.

Swann with a chop and Perkins chops back. Swann with a chop and Perkins with a European uppercut. Swann with a side Russian leg sweep and follows with Rolling Thunder for a near fall. Swann with a waist lock. Swann with a seated abdominal stretch. Swann puts his boot in Perkins' back to add pressure to the surfboard. Perkins with a mule kick and he punches Swann. Perkins with a reverse atomic drop and clothesline. Perkins with punches. Perkins with a drop kick to the knee. Perkins puts Swann in the tree of woe and Perkins with a hesitation drop kick into the corner for a near fall.

Perkins goes for the knee bar but Swann with a rollup for a near fall. Perkins gets Swann on his shoulders but Swann escapes. Perkins with a drop toe hold that sends Swann into the ropes. Perkins with a springboard drop kick. Perkins goes for a springboard move but Swann with a spinning back heel kick for the three count.

ALICIA FOX VS BAYLEY

Alicia with a Thesz Press and knees to Bayley.  Alicia with a drop kick.  Bayley goes to the apron and Alicia with shots to the back and she gets a near fall.  Bayley runs Alicia into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders.  Alicia sends Bayley into the turnbuckles.  Alicia with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.  Alicia with a rear chin lock.  Bayley counters a tilt-a-whirl back breaker attempt into a lateral press and she gets a near fall.  Bayley with a flying clothesline and punches.  Alicia with a boot but Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex for the three count.

Backstage:  Enzo and Colin are back together in the back and Colin warns Enzo about Lana.  Enzo agrees that she is trouble.  Enzo says he's got this.  Enzo gets a text from Lana and he shows the photo to Enzo. Rusev asks Colin if he knows where Lana is.  Rusev pushes Colin and Colin tells Rusev he made a mistake putting his hands on him. Rusev says he will go to Mick Foley for a match against Colin.

MARK HENRY VS TITUS O'NEIL

Titus O'Neil is out first. Mark Henry follows and one World's Strongest Slam later it's all over for O'Neil

Backstage: Enzo is waiting for his Uber ride when Ric Flair arrives and loans him The Nature Boy's limousine to go meet Lana

Backstage: Kevin Owens stops Chris Jericho and tells him he has his back tonight. Jericho tells Owens to stay away from him and not go out to the ring tonight

US CHAMPIONSHIP: ROMAN REIGNS VS CHRIS JERICHO

Jericho with punches and knees to Reigns followed by a head butt. Jericho with a forearm and Irish whip but Reigns with a clothesline out of the corner. Jericho kicks Reigns and goes for a bulldog but Reigns sends Jericho into the corner. Reigns with NeverEnding Story while Jericho is in the turnbuckles. Reigns with a belly-to-back set up into a modified uranage for a near fall. Reigns sets for the Superman punch but Jericho with a drop kick. Jericho clotheslines Reigns over the top rope and Jericho goes up top and hits a cross body onto Reigns.

-Commercial-

We are back and Jericho with forearms to the back of the head. Jericho with a reverse chin lock. Reigns with punches and Jericho with a drop kick. Jericho misses a splash to the back when Reigns moves. Reigns with two clotheslines followed by a flying clothesline. Reigns runs into a boot and Jericho goes to the turnbuckles but Reigns with an uppercut. Reigns is sent to the floor and Jericho with a springboard drop kick. Jericho misses a baseball slide and Reigns with a drive by. Reigns sets up for the Superman Punch and he misses. Jericho with an elbow and Lionsault for a near fall.

Reigns with a Samoan drop and a Superman Punch for a near fall. Reigns looks around and sets for the spear. Jericho with a kick and he tries for the Codebreaker but Reigns counters into a sit out power bomb and a near fall. Jericho with a Walls Of Jericho on Reigns

Owens comes out to the ring, Jericho yells at him to leave. Owens leaves and Jericho turns around only to be laid out by Reigns who scores the three count to pick up the victory

CASS VS RUSEV

Cass comes out to the ring and we are waiting for Rusev. Cass gets on the cell phone to call Enzo. We are then taken to a hotel corridor Enzo is standing outside the door and Lana comes out inviting him in. Enzo insists it's a bad idea. Lana calls Enzo a fool and calls Rusev who walks in and attacks Enzo throwing him out of the hotel room. Enzo is shown laying beaten face down as Raw goes to break

CESARO AND SHEAMUS VS THE CLUB

Cesaro and Anderson start things off and Anderson with a wrist lock and Cesaro kips up. Cesaro with a European uppercut followed by an Irish whip and European uppercut. Sheamus with a slingshot shoulder and a European uppercut. Gallows makes the tag and connects with a boot to the head. Sheamus with forearms and Gallows with an uppercut. Sheamus with a uranage back breaker and Gallows goes to the floor. Anderson and Gallows are too focused on The New Day and that allows Cesaro and Sheamus to take care of Gallows and Anderson. Sheamus with a European uppercut and Cesaro tags in. Sheamus and Cesaro with a double suplex and Cesaro gets a near fall.

Chinlock by Anderson. Cesaro gets to his feet and fights out of the corner. Blockbuster by Anderson. Gallows tags in takes a cheap shot at Sheamus knocking him off the apron. Elbow to Cesaro. Anderson back in and Sheamus breaks up the Magic Killer and Cesaro with a DDT.

Sheamus tags in and unloads on Anderson. Ten Beats of The Bohdran to Anderson. Rolling senton by Sheamus on Anderson. White Noise countered, Texas Cloverleaf countered. Sheamus is sent to the outside. Cesaro with a crossbody. Spinning uppercut to Anderson and a kick to Gallows. It's a melee on the outside as Sheamus and Cesaaro, The Club and New Day all brawl leading to the referee calling for the bell.

Charlotte comes out to the ring and says all she ever wanted was her father's approval and last week it broke her heart to see her father raise Sasha Banks' hand. WWE and the women's championship means everything to her and calls Ric Flair out to the ring.

Ric Flair comes out and Charlotte apologizes and hugs him. He then goes in for another hug but Charlotte slaps him and yells she's his daughter and he turned his back on her.

Sasha runs down and they brawl. Charlotte attacks Sasha in the ring sending her to the outside where she throws Sasha into the barricade then bounces her face first off the ring post as officials are trying to break things up. Charlotte then leaves as Raw goes off the air
