Andre The Giant Would've Turned 70 Today; We remember An Extraordinary Wrestler

There have been many larger-than-life personalities in the world of professional wrestling, but none have ever matched up to the late great Andre the Giant.

Andre, real name Andre Rene Roussimoff would have turned 70 years old on May 19, sadly he died at the age 46 on January, 27. 1993.

In recent days it has been revealed that a movie about the legdandy Andre is being developed by Lion Forge Comics and producers Scott Steindorff and Dylan Russell

Based on the authorized graphic novel biography Andre the Giant: Closer to Heaven, which was written by Brandon Easton and illustrated by Denis Medri, the film will chronicle Roussimoff’s journey from French farm boy to 7-foot-4 international wrestling star, while also exploring the physical and emotional challenges he faced.
