Vince McMahon Is Not A Big Fan Of WWE NXT

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is reportedly not a fan of the NXT brand, according to The Wrestling Observer. McMahon is said to view NXT as a touring brand and nothing more. He also feels that the NXT roster is unable to draw money and doesn't see much "star" potential in the current roster.

The NXT roster is said to be having a lot of fun and would rather not move up to the main roster, although they know in doing so they will earn more money, however, many of the talent were disappointed how Tyler Breeze was treated after he debuted on the main roster. Some of the locker room were reportedly disgruntled after the WWE Network special Breaking Ground built up Breeze's move to the main roster, only for him to be treated like a "jobber" on WWE television.

It should be noted that The Wrestling Observer reported in May of last year, that "John Cena is a big supporter of the NXT brand and Vince McMahon was ‘blown away’" on a visit over the WrestleMania 31 period in California, so unless McMahon's views have changed drastically in the last year or there has been confusion on his actual opinions on the NXT brand it would be wise to be cautious with this report.
