Update On Rumored WWE ‘Cruiserweights’ Show

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer is reporting that there are tentative plans for a WWE ‘Cruiserweight' style show which would feature smaller wrestlers from the independent under 205 pounds.

The show will reportedly by 10 episodes long will revolve around a tournament commencing this summer. WWE would likely be keen to sign anybody who stood out.

There is discussion regarding the whole show being filled with unknown indy talent or the possibly of a mix with NXT stars.
