This is 17 years in the making; we're Live in Boston Massechusetts and we are ready for the 900th episode of WWE's Monday Night RAW! Generations in the making, more episodes than any television show in history, RAW begins with a flashback of various clips of RAW episodes and this epic night begins with an explosive run of pyro's on stage and Michael Cole and Jerry 'The King' Lawler introduce us from ringside. It is announced that there will be a five-on-five tag team elimination match as Nexus takes on Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Edge, Sheamus and John Cena!

Music hits and Bret Hart makes his way to the ring. Hart says that 17 years ago when Monday Night RAW debuted he was unsure whether the concept would catch on. He tells us that he was there for that very first show and so too was The UnderTaker. The fans cheer, but there's an explosion on stage and the Devil's Favorite Demon Kane makes his way to the ring. The commentary team remind us of Kane's impact on RAW over the years, but tonight Kane is an unwelcome guest. Kane immediately gets on the mic and targets his brother. He says that 'Taker is no longer a Phenom; he's just a man. Like Bret, says Kane, The UnderTaker is weak, feeble and over-the-hill. Kane goes on to say that the last time The UnderTaker was truly himself, he was putting Shawn Michaels' career to Rest. Kane suggests that Bret must've enjoyed that. Bret says that he can't wait for 'Taker to get his hands on Kane and beat him like he always does. Kane says that The UnderTaker took out a Legend like Shawn Michaels, so it's only fitting that he must do the same. Kane then wraps his palm around the throat of Bret Hart, but then we have The Hart Dynasty come to Bret's rescue. Kane fights them off and just as he goes after The Hitman again *BONG* darkness overcomes the arena and when the lights come back on The UnderTaker is in the ring. The Dead-Man eyes Kane and his brother backs off to exit out of the ring. Kane smiles as he heads up the ramp. *BLEEP* *BLEEP* Michael Cole goes to the podium to speak on behalf of the yet unrevealed General Manager. He says that tonight's historic occasion that is the 900th episode of RAW requires an iconic main event: Bret 'The Hitman' Hart versus The UnderTaker!

Michael McGillicutty & Kofi Kingston vs. Kaval & Daniel Bryan vs. Alex Riley & The Miz

Triple Threat Rules Tag Team match

The match gets underway to a pretty quick pace. Kofi starts well, but then Bryan comes in and does well against Alex Riley. Riley gets some momentum and he gets Kofi to the mat, but the tides turn and Kofi hits the Boom Drop. Bryan then tags Kaval while Kofi tags McGillicutty. All three NXT rookies are legal now and Kaval does well with some impressive moves. McGillicutty does well for a moment until Kaval gets him down to stomp down the Warrior's Way. Miz though comes in and takes Kaval down from behind with the Skull Crushing Finale.

Winners: The Miz and Alex Riley.

Michael Cole says "RAW's seen the likes of Michaels, Stone Cold, Rock, Hart and Taker - add The Miz to that list!" with Mike Mizanen picking up an opportunistic victory. After the match Alex Riley has an exchange with Daniel Bryan, but then Miz comes in with the MITB Briefcase to knock Bryan out of his boots. Miz and Riley celebrate as they exit to a chorus of boos from the Boston crowd.

Lay-Cool vs. Eve Torres & Melina

This tag contest gets underway and Michelle McCool gets an early pin attempt on Melina. Layla tags in, but after a short exchange Melina gets the roll-up on Layla and this one's done in matter of minutes!

Winners: Melina and Eve Torres.

After the match Lay-Cool get on with "Real Talk." They go on to challenge Melina to a unification match for the Women's and Diva's Championships at Night of Champions. Melina willingly accepts, but adds the stipulation that it's a Lumberjack match. The Diva's locker room then walks out onto the stage and King tells that it's Lumber-Jills! "Woohoo!"

We head to the Nexus locker room and they tell that they're down to five after kicking out Darren Young and Skip Sheffield having broken his ankle. They question themselves and wonder whether they're now "weak." Wade Barrett confidently reiterates how they're going to beat five of WWE's best tonight. Not only that, they're going to make sure this is a night history will never forget. Mr Wade Barrett has a plan...

Backstage we have Josh Matthews interview Chris Jericho. Jericho says that the reason he says that he's the best in the world at what he does - is because it's true. Jericho then makes a ground-breaking statement; he says that if he doesn't win the WWE Championship at Night of Champions, then that's it, he's done. Matthews questions this, saying that Jericho's been in and out of RAW before. Jericho though says that he is not joking. He's confident going into Night of Champions and tonight, versus Nexus, he's going to prove to the world that he is indeed the best at what he does.

John Morrison & R-Truth vs. Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre

Number 1 Contenders match for the WWE World Tag Team Titles

The third tag team contest of the evening gets underway and this one's intriguing. SmackDown's McIntyre and Rhodes come to RAW and Rhodes starts off against Truth and it doesn't take him long to throw a cheap shot at the illegal Morrison and then McIntyre comes in and then a brawl ensues. The referee instantly loses control and he calls for the bell.

No Contest.

The crowd boo as this one barely even got started. Morrison and Truth though end on top after decking Rhodes and McIntyre at ringside.

Bret 'The Hitman' Hart vs. The UnderTaker

At the half-way point of this historic RAW episode Jerry 'The King' Lawler tells of how he remembers an amazing battle between the Hitman and The Phenom thirteen years ago. Now they meet in the ring again tonight and what a match this one is set to be. Bret doesn't seem intimidated, but before the bell even rings, Wade Barrett makes an entrance. He's on mic and he says that this match is not going to happen. He says that people don't want to see Legends, they want to see what the future holds. Barrett says that he's going to do something unforgettable and take down The UnderTaker and The Hitman. Barrett storms the ring and The Dead-Man takes him down with ease. 'Taker turns his attentions back toward Hart, but then *BONG* lights out and *BONG* lights back on, Bret's gone but UnderTaker's now faced with his brother Kane! 'Taker gets his hand around the throat of Kane but *BONG* lights out, and *BONG* when they're back on Kane is gone. Music hits and the remaining members of Nexus come down the ramp and surround the ring as they familiarly do. They get to attacking The Dead-Man, but UnderTaker thwarts them off, he gets his hand around the neck of Wade Barrett but *BONG* lights out.... *BONG* Lights back on and Barrett has 'Taker up in a Samoan. He drops him over the top of his own head for the front Firemans' slam which we now know is called "Waste Land." Nexus drag the body of UnderTaker to the corner where Justin Gabriel finishes The UnderTaker with a 450 splash. Kane stands on the stage witnessing it all happen. 'Taker tries to sit up, but he can't. Nexus stand proudly over The UnderTaker. Kane laughs demonically as we fade out.

When we come back Cole and King review what didn't even end up being a match between Bret Hart and The UnderTaker. Cole says he can't believe Nexus delivered on what they said. King finishes by saying he can't believe Kane has UnderTaker-like powers.

Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne

During Swagger's entrance he's on mic and he tells us that he's returning to RAW as a former World Champion. The match begins, but then it is interrupted by the entrance of Alberto Del-Rio. Del-Rio arrives in a Bentley and is introduced by his own ring announcer. In the ring meanwhile, Bourne has Swagger down. He attempts the Air-Bourne, but misses. Bourne lands on his feet, but Swagger then targets the ankle and in moments this one is finished as well as Evan Bourne taps out.

Winner: Jack Swagger.

Swagger's music hits and he walks away victorious. Alberto Del-Rio then gets on mic and tells everyone that Rey Mysterio would not be here tonight. Del-Rio says that he took out Mysterio and unfortunately RAW did not get to see what happened when he didd what he did to Rey on SmackDown. With that in mind, Del-Rio says that he's going to recreate the action by targetting Evan Bourne. Del-Rio gets into the ring to attack Evan. He puts the cross-armbreaker on Bourne and then sets up to put a steel chair into the equation. Before he can do any real damage though Mark Henry's music hits. Henry comes to Bourne's aid, but Del-Rio escapes. King says that "you don't wanna mess with the World's Strongest Man" while Cole predicts that Del-Rio is going to have an amazing career on Friday Night SmackDown.

Next up we see a video montage of WWE's first ever visit to China. The superstars had an excellent time with the fans and many describe it as an unforgettabley spectacular trip.

CM Punk comes down to the ring with Straight-Edge Society members Joseph Mercury and Luke Gallows (no Serena of course). Punk gets on the mic and tells that he's better than The Rock. He says that he doesn't drink, doesn't smoke and doesn't make crappy movies like The Tooth Fairy. Punk says that he doesn't miss The Rock on this septic tank of a show that is Monday Night RAW. Punk says that for 900 shows RAW has been promoting poor family values. Punk refers to D-X, Katie Vick, property damage (when Triple H wrecked Randy Orton's house), irresponsible and wreckless behaviour (when Cena launched Edge into a lake), tresspassing (D-X's invasion of WCW), excessive use of alcohol (Stone Cold's beer bath when he crashed the Corporation's party). Punk states that all these things brought shame to the people of the WWE Universe. Glass shatters and music hits... Stone Cold?!... No, Punk was bluffing. He laughs hysterically saying that Boston fell for it. Punk says that he feels empty inside when he sees these people and now he's happy that they're disapointed. Punk next rolls footage of Brock Lesnar's superplex on Big Show on Friday Night SmackDown, June 12th 2003. Punk says that he could watch that clip over and over again as it proves the obessety of the Big Show. He begins to take verbal shots at Big Show, but then Show's music hits and he comes out to a decent reception. Show says that fat jokes are poor and if Punk wanted to embarrass him then he could've pointed out a number of things. Show then gives a list of his own embarrasing moments. Show makes fun of the SES with a Hulk Hogan-esque impression of what it would be like if Hogan was in the SES. Punk though doesn't joke and takes the stuation seriously only to eventually be dunped on his backside after a slap to the chest by Big Show. Mercury exits with the injured arm, and Luke Gallows exchanges punches with Show only to end up getting clotheslined over the top rope. Show's music hits and the fans cheer as the SES scamper away.

Josh Matthews is on the stage and he introduces WWE Champion Sheamus. Sheamus comes out and says that he was the one who took out Triple H. He says that he has to tag with his opponents tonight come Night of Champions. He says that it's been discrimination that a Champion can be treated this way. Edge's music hits and he says that he's faced such obstacles too and as much as he's taken, he's dished it out as well. Edge finishes by saying that even after winning 29 Championships in the WWE, the Royal Rumble, The King of The Ring, the first ever Money In The Bank winner - he's still going into Night of Champions looking to be WWE Champion again. Edge's music hits and he walks down the ramp to the ring. Tonight's main event is next!

Sheamus, Edge, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton & John Cena vs. Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Michael Tarver, Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel.

WWE vs. The Nexus, Five-on-Five Tag match

The commentary team remind us how Nexus decimated The UnderTaker earlier in the show. Now they take on five of WWE's best. Jericho and Tarver start off and we're told this is an elimination match. Jericho doesn't even throw a punch and chooses to walk off. He exits the ring and exits up the ramp. The ref counts Ten and Jericho's eliminated via Count-Out. Edge comes in and he shoves down the referee. He's now Disqualified! Shocking start to the match, but Cena comes in and he's all business against Tarver. Sheamus tags in and he too does an excellent job to wear Tarver down and get a Two-count. Taver tags Heath Slater and Sheamus hits a nice suplex. One, Two - Two-count. Sheamus continues the fight to Slater and dominates him to ringside. Back in the ring Slater manages to get the tag to David Otunga. Big guy against big guy here, but Sheamus does well to get Otunga down and then stomp on him in the corner. Otunga then manages to reverse an Irish whip which sends Sheamus chest-first into the opposite corner. Otunga tags Slater who stomps Sheamus down. Justin Gabriel tags in and throws haymakers at the WWE Champion before Wade Barrett tags in. He puts stomps on Sheamus as well and then tags in Slater. Team-work by Nexus. They disect Sheamus and eventually Slater puts Sheamus down for the Three-count. John Cena comes in and he looks to put Slater away with the Attitude Adjustment and he does. Nexus leader Wade Barrett comes in and he throws Cena to ringside. Nexus occupy their pack-of-dog mentality as they stomp down on Cena in numbers. Nexus then make to do what they did to Sheamus on Cena. Gabriel tags in and after some work on Cena, the home-state native kicks out of a couple of pin attempts. David Otunga tags in and tides turn when Cena gets the fishermans suplex on his opponent. An STF follows and Otunga taps out. Cena rolls away only to immediately get hit with a huge 450 by Gabriel who was already waiting. One, Two, Three! Cena's out! Orton comes in; RKO! Gabriel goes down and he's down for Three. Tarver comes in and *BAM* RKO! One, Two, Three! Tarver's out - but Barrett comes in and he gets Orton up high in a firemans' carry *BOOM* Waste Land! One! Two! Three!

Winners: Nexus!

Wade Barrett makes it indeed an unforgettable night for The Nexus as WWE's 900th episode comes to a close with Barrett proving that he's ready for Night of Champions.

Taker says that he is still very much the dead man. He says that this is still his yard. He says that there is one thing that he needs to make perfectly clear. That is that he will never pardon the guilty. Speaking of guilty, that brings him to his brother Kane. Kane is guilty of a treacherous betrayal. A betrayal that he will pay dearly for. Taker says that Kane has a diseased soul and that disease has festered and turned into a web of lies. Lies that Kane thinks that he can fill Taker’s boots. The biggest lie of them all is that he thinks that he can carry Taker’s holy grail, the World Title.

Kane’s pyro goes off and he makes his presence known on the stage. Kane says that the only one spinning a web of lies is his big brother. He says that he hears the weakness in Taker’s voice and in his eyes. Kane wonders if he is the one who is diseased and delusional. He wonders if Taker has looked at himself. He says that Taker is not the phenom any more. He is only a shadow of himself. Kane says that he will have no problem dropping Taker on his head like he did at SummerSlam. He tells Taker that he is living in a fantasy world. He is bigger and stronger than Taker and he is now the dominant brother. Kane says that he has nothing left to prove.

Taker tells Kane that there is a reason why Kane walked in his shadow. Taker tries to remember what Kane called himself because his memory isn’t that good these days. Taker remembers and he says that Kane called himself the Devil’s Favorite Demon. Taker asks Kane if he remembers that the house that the devil lives in was built by him, brick by fiery brick. Taker says that when he comes calling, the devil still answers to him with ‘sir’. Taker says that Kane has never been worthy and he never will be worthy. Kane is not worthy to carry that championship. He is not worthy of the power that he steals with the power he inspires. Taker says that most of all, Kane is unworthy of being his brother. Taker tells Kane to listen to him and listen to him good. Taker says that he taught Kane everything that Kane knows about evil, but Taker says that he did not teach Kane everything he knows. He tells Kane that when the mood strikes, he will be waiting. When the fight starts, it will always end the same way.

Kane says that it will not end that way this time. Kane says that they know that this time it ends the same way it did at SummerSlam. It ends with Taker sprawled helpless at his feet. Kane promises . . . no he vows on the grave of their mother that Taker will never rest in peace.

Kane laughs as we go to credits.

Report by Richard Trionfo & PWinsider.com

TNA Impact Results
Report by: Stuart Carapola & PWInsider.com
Aired On: 8/26/2010

We open with a video recap of the formation of Fortune, their attacks on nearly everyone in TNA, and Dixie Carter’s announcement of EV2.0 getting contracts, followed by Abyss interfering in last week’s AJ Styles-Tommy Dreamer match. We then go backstage to Eric Bischoff pleading with Dixie Carter to be able to go out to the ring with her, but Dixie refusing because she wants to do this herself.

We head out to the ring where Dixie Carter, complete with her own entrance music, comes out with a microphone. Oh, and by the way, in case you didn’t know, you can follow Dixie Carter on Twitter! Dixie says that a lot of great things have happened since she’s been involved with TNA, but there have been challenges as well, and it’s through these challenges that TNA has become stronger and become a family. She talks about far outlasting the critics’ predictions, the countless people who have helped build TNA into what it is today, and she vowed back then that she would never let anyone or anything hurt this company, and she plans to keep that promise. She calls Ric Flair out to the ring for a stern talking to. So Cal Val, who they sorely need to get on TV more, holds the ropes open for Flair. Flair tells Dixie that she is drop dead gorgeous, almost to the point of being sultry, and he suggests they go back to the hotel and resolve this like two grown adults. Dixie says that she was excited when Flair came to TNA because he said he was going to be a leader and help coach the young guys in the locker room, and he has failed them. Hulk and Bischoff said Flair was no good, and she didn’t want to believe them, but his actions since Hardcore Justice have been deplorable. Dixie respects Flair’s legendary status, but Flair will be treated the same as every man and woman in the back, and unfortunately, she’s suspending Flair for 90 days without pay. Dixie asks if she’s suspending Fortune too, and she says no, only him. Flair responds by saying that he and Fortune are as one, and calls Fortune out to the ring. They come out in suits and join Flair in the ring. Flair says these are some of the greatest professional wrestlers Flair has ever seen, and Dixie says she agrees, but they were all with her building TNA before Flair came to TNA. Dixie asks if this is Flair’s idea of mentoring, and AJ points to the TV Title belt as proof of the value of Flair’s guidance. Dixie says that while Flair is sidelined, Fortune will all be wrestling but he won’t be with them. Flair is aghast at being put on the sidelines, and takes his jacket off and says that he’s going to show her what Naitchin’ is all about. Suddenly Dixie’s husband jumps in the ring and gets his ass kicked. Hogan’s music hits and he comes out with Angle, Jardy, Anderson, and Pope, and Hogan says to tell his boys to let Mr Carter go or he’s going to stick his size 15 up Flair’s ass. Flair doesn’t back down, so Hogan and company surround the ring. Hogan gets in the ring and tells Flair that the smartest thing for his guys to do is listen to him: when Hogan started in TNA, he promised that they would run the company 50-50, and now that Dixie Carter is up to her neck in crap, he’s going to override her and unsuspend Flair. After Fortune beat him down last week, that would be way too easy because Flair has really pissed him off. One thing Flair needs to realize is that his guys are the whole show and the real TNA. Flair says his guys are taking over, and they’re going to do it on his terms and it won’t be tonight. Hogan asks why, and Flair says it’s because he’s not ready. Hogan says if Flair doesn’t want to do it tonight, then why not put four of his guys up against his four tonight? Gee, I wonder who’s going to win this match? As Flair and Fortune make their way up the ramp, EV2.0 comes running out and brawl with Fortune.

We go to commercial, and when we come back we see a recap of the opening segment, and then we go backstage to Kurt Angle, who says that the TNA World Title is the most important thing to the four of them, but tonight it’s about TNA. The opportunities Dixie, Hulk and Bischoff have given to them are important, and they’re going to kick Fortune’s asses.

Let’s head to the ring for our opening match…

Orlando Jordan vs Samoa Joe

Orlando Jordan molests a Samoa Joe action figure on his way to the ring, then grabs So Cal Val and fondles her as well. Joe goes right to work on Jordan, repeatedly punching him in the face and then beating him down in the corner. Joe charges in with a running forearm and a standing enziguiri, then locks in the Kokina Clutch but Jordan rams him into the corner…and lapdances him. Jordan uses the distraction to catch him with a back elbow and unload with punches and kicks. Jordan continues the assault and whips Joe into the ropes, catching him coming off with a back elbow, and then takes him to the corner where he goes up with a corner mount, but instead of punching him, he grabs the Joe action figure off the ringpost and licks it. This infuriates Joe, who absolutely decimates Jordan with a series of big moves, then sets Jordan up in the corner and hits the Muscle Buster for three.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Jeff Jarrett’s music hits after the match, and he comes out and joins Joe in the ring. We’ll find out what’s on Jeff Jarrett’s mind…after this commercial break!

We’re back, and Jeff Jarrett says it’s been five years since Joe joined TNA, and Jarrett knew from the first time he saw Joe on the independent scene that he wanted him in TNA. Jarrett says everyone knows it, he’s come a long way in five years, and Jarrett feels like he’s been a big part of that. He’s not out here to ask Joe any favors, but is proposing that tonight, Joe be in Jarrett’s corner when he takes on Kevin Nash. He says that Sting and Nash are trying to tear down what they all built, and they’re all about greed and they’re pissed off because they’re not the top dogs anymore. Jarrett says that he’ll take care of Nash in the match, and asks Joe if he’ll take care of Sting if he gets involved in the match. Joe takes a mic from So Cal Val and says that Jarrett needs to understand that Joe doesn’t choose sides because he doesn’t have to, and Joe only knows how to play for one team: his own. Joe walks off and Kevin Nash’s music hits. I guess we’re going right into our next match…

Jeff Jarrett vs Kevin Nash

Nash grabs a chair from ringside, but Jarrett steps on it, so Nash grabs him by the ankle and drags him to the floor and whips him into the guardrail and into the crowd. Nash rams Jarrett into the ring apron, then the stairs, and then rolls Jarrett into the ring. Nash continues pounding on Jarrett with big right hands, then sends him into the corner and rams knees into his gut. Nash follows that up with his patented back elbows in the corner, and I bet he’ll choke him with his boot next…YEP, THERE IT IS! Nash goes to grab his chair, but the referee takes it away, so Nash takes the turnbuckle pad off the corner and tries to ram Jarrett into it, but Jarrett reverses and rams Nash into the exposed turnbuckle instead, then catches him with a flying elbow off the second rope. He goes up for a second, but Nash catches him with a goozle and rams him into the exposed turnbuckle, and then follows that with a chokeslam for a very close 2. Jarrett ducks a clothesline and gets a sleeper, but Nash rams Jarrett into the exposed turnbuckle AGAIN…oh wait, the referee got caught in there and he went into the turnbuckle. Jarrett rams Nash into the turnbuckle again and hits the Stroke, but there’s no ref to count. Instead, Sting comes in to try and help out by nailing Jarrett with his bat a couple of times and leave him laying. Nash crawls over and covers Jarrett, and the referee conveniently revives just in time to make the three count.

Winner: Kevin Nash

Sting comes back in the ring and goes after Jarrett again, but now Hogan’s music hits and…oh, it’s Eric Bischoff. Bischoss asks if this is really what Sting’s come to and if this is how far he’s fallen. He says Nash couldn’t handle Jarrett, so Sting came out. Sting says he wants Hogan, but Bischoff says Hogan is busy, and then asks if Hogan is what Sting really wants, and to be careful what you wish for, because once in a while you might get it. Bischoff says Sting isn’t man enough to understand that, and…ah, Hogan comes out of the crowd with a chair and nails Sting from behind, then grabs Sting’s bat and chases Nash off.

We go backstage to Hogan and Tommy Dreamer, and Hogan says that whether they like it or not, they’re on the same side. Hogan asks Dreamer to take out Abyss tonight, and Dreamer says he’ll do it.

Beer Money vs Tony Luke & Guido Maritato

Beer Money immediately jump the FBI and just destroy them with a series of double team moves. Storm chokes Guido on the ropes and then beats him down in the corner. Storm hits Guido with an enziguiri and then Roode lays him out with a lariat and sucker punches Tony off the ring apron. Guido starts firing back, but Roode gets a full nelson slam. Guido gets a small package out of nowhere for 2, and then makes the hot tag to Tony Luke, who comes off the top rope and gets caught in a spinebuster. Beer Money hit him with the DWI and that’s all she wrote.

Winners: Beer Money

Guido attacks Roode after the match and Storm cracks the beer bottle over his head. Roode picks Tony Luke up and holds him so Storm can superkick his head off, then Storm grabs a piece of the broken glass and gouges Guido’s head open with it. They pick Guido up and just drill him with the DWI before flashing the Fortune sign.

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky are backstage, and they’re…WALKING!

Dreamer is backstage and asks the rest of EV2.0 if they saw what just happened to the FBI, and that Hogan wants Abyss’ head on a stick tonight. Stevie Richards says if that’s what he wants, he’s got it.

We head back out to the Impact Zone, and Angelina Love and Velvet Sky make their way out to the ring. Angelina says that they’ve both made a lot of mistakes, and she felt like when they went their separate ways, something was missing, and Angelina knows that she’s not always a perfect little angel, and she can be a pretty mean bitch, but she does value their friendship and thinks they should just forgive and forget. Velvet takes the mic and says there’s no sense in rehashing the past, especially with that monster they created in Madison Rayne, and they should let bygones be bygones so they can again dominate the Knockounts division. Velvet says holler and they hug. The Beautiful People music plays again, and out comes Madison Rayne on the bike with Dumpy Ass. The two of them get in the ring and Madison says that if she weren’t such a lady, she would barf in the ring right now. Madison says she’s going to sue both of them for copyright infringement for coming out to her song and referring to themselves as the Beautiful People. She’s the only beautiful person in the ring right now, and she’s all natural unlike those two silicone whores. (her words, not mine) Madison first tells Angelina that she doesn’t know if the botox went to her brain, but it was Angelina who brought her to TNA because the Beautiful People needed some class. And to Velvet Sky, Madison wants her to know that she is and has always been one thing, and that’s her little bitch. Velvet flips out and attacks Madison Rayne, and Dumpy Ass tries to intervene, but Angelina goes after her until Overzealous Security Inc runs out to pull them apart, but they break free and the brawl breaks out again.

Backstage, the Motor City Machine Guns show off the copy of Rock Band that they got for free, then talk about their match tonight with Generation Me and other teams breathing down their necks and trying to follow in their footsteps. They’re going to relax a bit, and then go out for their match…next!

Earlier today, Brutus Magnus and Desmond Wolfe are coming into the mall to look for some new threads. Chelsea wants to stop and get some food, but Desmond says no because she ate yesterday. Brutus hands his no limit credit card to Chelsea, who decides to wander off and do some shopping of her own.

Back to the ring for our next match…

TNA World Tag Team Champions Motor City Machine Guns vs Generation Me

This ought to be good. Jeremy and Sabin start and Jeremy gets a quick rollup right off the bat but only gets 1. Sabin fires Jeremy into the ropes and takes him down with a shoulderblock. Jeremy responds with a drop toehold and la magistral cradle for 2. Sabin sends Jeremy into the ropes but Jeremy made a blind tag and Gen Me with a double hiptoss and double dropkick for 2. Sabin and Max reverse waistlocks and Sabin gets a blind tag and the MCMG hit a series of double team moves on Max. Shelley with a kick to the ribs of Max and a big slam, then gets a half crab while stepping on Max’s face. The ref counts even though that isn’t technically illegal, so the MCMG with another double team and Sabin covers for 2. Sabin rams Max into Shelley’s boot, then tags Shelley in, and Shelley with a snapmare and kneedrop for 2, then keep going for the cover a couple more times but can’t get the fall, so instead he gets a three quarter nelson. Sabin tags in, but Max is able to fight his way clear and roll into his corner to make the hot tag to Jeremy, who comes in and cleans house on Sabin with dropkicks. Shelley kicks Jeremy from the outside, but Jeremy nails him and Jeremy with a springboard X-Factor for 2. Gen Me with an amazing assisted springboard moonsault onto the MCMG on the floor, and Max hits Sabin with a spear as he gets back in the ring and then Gen Me with a moonsault/splash combo on Sabin and they go for More Bang For Your Buck, but Sabin holds onto Jeremy and Max moonsaults onto him. Shelley with a double stomp on Jeremy, a lungblower on Max, and the Skull and Crossbones for the win.

Winners: Motor City Machine Guns

The two teams shake after the match and they all raise their hands in a nice show of sportsmanship.

Backstage, Ric Flair is ranting that he and Fortune don’t take orders from anyone, and his guys are the heart and soul of this company, and tonight they find out why Fortune is TNA. Sting and Nash come up from behind and Sting chokes Flair with his bat, and he says that after they get done with the big problem around here, they’re coming for him.

We go to a bizarre video package that just informs us that The Shore is coming soon.

Coming up at No Surrender, AJ Styles faces Tommy Dreamer in an I Quit Match, the Motor City Machine Guns defend the TNA World Tag Team Title against London Brawling: Brutus Magnus and Desmond Wolfe, as well as the semifinals of the TNA World Title Tournament, and…wait a minute, something’s going on backstage! We go to the back where Stevie Richards is attacking Abyss backstage. Richards gets the early upper hand, drilling Abyss with rights and ramming him into a crate backstage, but Abyss tosses Richards into some garbage pails backstage and stomps him out before choking him with his boot. Abyss asks Richards if he wants to join his buddy RVD, and Richards says “screw you!” and Abyss goes “screw this!” as he continues to pound on Richards. Abyss grabs Janice and swings it at Richards, but Richards moves and starts firing back on Abyss. Richards tosses him into some segments of guardrail backstage and chokes him, but Abyss fights back and then rams him into a table. Abyss tells Richards to tell the rest of the EV2.0 guys that what happened to RVD is going to happen to them.

We’re at commercial!

Okay, now we’re back from commercial, and Rhino is in the ring calling out Abyss. Abyss comes out with Janice and Rhino goes right after him when he makes it to ringside. Rhino pounds Abyss and rams him into the ring steps, and then he goes for the Gore but Abyss boots him in the face and then begins unloading with rights of his own. Rhino fires back, but Abyss whips him into the guardrail and they continue trading blows past the Spanish broadcast table and Abyss goes to chokeslam him onto the table, but Rhino fights out and they end up on a ramp and Rhino rams Abyss into the scaffolding. Rhino sets for the Gore and this time he hits it. He seems to have done something to his ankle on that one.

We go backstage to Fortune, and AJ Styles talks about how he built this company, and these guys with him are his guys. It was AJ that gave Dixie the opportunity because he made this company and he made Dixie, and if he has to he’ll tear it down too.

It’s main event time!

AJ Styles, Frankie Kazarian, Matt Morgan & Douglas Williams vs Kurt Angle, The Pope, Ken Anderson & Jeff Hardy

The bell rings and Anderson and Kazarian tie up. They trade wristlocks but Kazarian smacks Anderson in the face, then comes off the ropes with a shoulderblock. Anderson responds with a hiptoss, slam, and then slaps Kazarian in the face and tags in Pope, but Kazarian goes to the eyes and tags in AJ, who comes off the ropes and eats a flying forearm from Pope. Pope with a series of Dusty Rhodes elbows and a double axhandle for 2. AJ rams Pope into the corner and tags in Williams, who nails Pope and then tags Kazarian back in. Kazarian beats him up and tags in AJ, who lays in a series of chops, then gets a snapmare and indy kick to the back. AJ tags in Morgan and Morgan says he wants Hardy, so Pope obliges and tags out to Hardy. Hardy with a duck under into a waistlock, but Morgan just shrugs him off and tosses him into the corner, but Jardy dodges a charge and just beats Morgan down in the corner, then comes off the ropes with a forearm, but AJ grabs Hardy’s leg from the floor, allowing Morgan to take Hardy out with a clothesline. Morgan chokes Hardy in the corner and tags in AJ, who slams Hardy and comes off the ropes with the Fancy Kneedrop for 2. Morgan tags back in and gets the rapid fire elbows in the corner, then gets a big vertical suplex for 2. Williams tags in and just barely manages to hot shot Hardy on the top rope, and then Flair trips Hardy from the outside and pulls him out to the floor where he kicks him in the groin. Hardy makes it back in the ring where Williams hits a kneedrop for 2, then gets a three quarter nelson. Williams lets him go and comes off the ropes, but Hardy with a clothesline and he makes the hot tag to Kurt Angle, who comes in and cleans house on the heels. It’s Angle and Kazarian, and Angle with a German Suplex and then locks in the Ankle Lock, but AJ off the top rope with a flying clothesline, and then everyone comes in and starts hitting their big moves on everyone, ending with Angle hitting the Angle Slam on Kazarian, but he didn’t notice Pope tagging himself in, and Pope runs in and steals the fall on Kazarian.

Winners: Kurt Angle, The Pope, Ken Anderson, and Jeff Hardy

Pope and Angle get in each other’s faces, but not for long as Fortune all run in and lay the faces out. AJ and Storm set up a table at ringside and are about to put Hardy through it, but EV2.0 run out and go after Fortune, returning the favor for last week’s attack. Sabu puts Williams on the table and comes off the apron, putting Williams through the table with an Arabian Facebuster as we go off the air.

FRESNO, Calif. – With just one week to go until the NXT season two finale, the last three NXT Rookies had their knowledge of WWE history put to the test for an exclusive WWE.com takeover at the most critical moment as the WWE Universe prepares to help determine WWE’s next breakout star.

“Dashing” Cody Rhodes def. MVP
With both of their Rookies eliminated the previous week on WWE NXT, MVP and “Dashing” Cody Rhodes were done talking and ready to get down to business inside of the ring. While Rhodes initially denied Kaval’s challenge, he accepted The Ballin’ Superstar’s request and the second-generation competitor was out to silence his critics and prove that he is on a higher level than both the NXT Rookies and his fellow Pros. The execution of a jarring Cross Rhodes gave The “Dashing” Superstar a convincing victory over MVP and suggested that perhaps Rhodes can actually back up his endless talk.

Kaval won the WWE Trivia Challenge
In order to be a successful WWE Superstar, one must appreciate and acknowledge the history of what has come before them. There is no history richer than that of WWE, and the NXT Rookies’ knowledge of Superstars and events of days past was put to the test.

While the son of “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig, Michael McGillicutty, seemed to be the early favorite, Kaval quickly demonstrated his familiarity with Superstars and WWE moments, past and present. The two Rookies remained neck and neck while varsity letterman Alex Riley would essentially flunk, answering only one question correctly. At the end of the competition, Kaval scored the most points to secure a victory. With his win, the NXT Rookie earned a special feature on WWE.com beginning at midnight ET, following the conclusion of WWE NXT.

Kaval challenged “Dashing” Cody Rhodes
After last week’s shocking double elimination, the three remaining NXT Rookies – Kaval, Alex Riley and Michael McGillicutty – have very few chances left to prove why they are WWE’s next breakout star. NXT host Matt Striker asked each of the Rookies how it felt to be a finalist in the competition. When Kaval took the microphone, he first thanked the WWE Universe and then immediately set his sights on “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, who assaulted the NXT Rookie following Husky Harris’ elimination last week.

Kaval challenged Rhodes to a match, but the SmackDown Superstar told the Rookie that they were not on the same level and denied the request. This prompted WWE Pro MVP to confront Rhodes and issue his own challenge for later in the evening, which the “Dashing” Superstar accepted.

Tune in live to WWE NXT for the season two finale and be sure to cast your vote beginning at 12 noon ET for the NXT Rookie you believe is WWE's next breakout star.

Monday Night Raw Results
Aired On: August 23, 2010
Report by: Richard Trionfo & PWInsider.com

We begin with a look back at the way that Nexus lost a member last week on Raw.

We are live on tape from Los Angeles, California and your announcers are Michael ‘Waiting for the General Messenger’ Cole and Jerry ‘90210’ Lawler.

Sheamus comes to the ring and we see what Randy Orton did to Sheamus last week on Raw.

Sheamus has a serious look on his face fella. He says that one thing that he learned about Americans is that their children are spoiled brats. They are annoying and selfish and they complain until they get their way. Sheamus goes to the front row and he wants to know what they deserved to get such good seats. He calls the kids disgraces. He says that there is a bigger spoiled child here in the WWE and his name is Randy Orton. Since Orton couldn’t win the title at SummerSlam, he attacked him the next night on Raw. He talks about how he got hit with a chair while the fans were chanting for an RKO. Sheamus reminds us that he is the WWE Champion, not Randy Orton. Sheamus says that he hasn’t been on the same page as the General Manager, but with Night of Champions coming up, he does not want the spoiled child to be rewarded. He says that Orton should be punished or locked up in prison. He says that Orton should not get another title match.

The General Messenger dings in and Michael Cole puts on his reading glasses. He says that he has no problem with Sheamus. He has been able to retain his title and he says that Sheamus should be rewarded. Tonight, he is going to do something unprecedented. The General Messenger asks to have a throne brought out. He says that Sheamus will be the one to decide his next challenger. Sheamus will be able to watch and observe the matches to determine who his opponent will be for Night of Champions.

Sheamus says that justice has finally been done in the WWE and he thanks the General Messenger.

Cole says that the first match is taking place now.

Match Number One: Edge versus R Truth

They lock up and Edge with a knee and forearm. Edge sets for a spear and misses it when Truth leap frogs him. Truth misses a scissors kick but Edge does not miss the second spear attempt and gets the three count.

Winner: Edge

After the match, Edge tells Sheamus that he can sit in his stupid little throne and brag about who he has beaten, but until you beat a nine time champion and the man who led Team WWE to victory at SummerSlam, and the man who is the Rated R Superstar, you haven’t beaten anybody.

We take a look behind the scenes of Dashing Cody Rhodes’ dashing appearance on Warehouse 13, tomorrow night on Syfy before NXT (that would be 9:00 PM eastern/8:00 PM central for those not familiar with NXT).

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look back at WWE’s tour of China this weekend.

Match Number Two: Great Khali with Dancing Runjin Singh versus Chris Jericho

Khali stares at Sheamus and then Jericho punches Khali in the face but Khali blocks another punch and picks up Jericho and sends him to the mat. Khali with kick and elbows in the corner. Khali with a chop across the chest followed by a forearm to the top of the head. Khali misses a leg drop
and Jericho with a kick to the knee. Jericho says that Edge was not the first Undisputed Champion in WWE history. He did not make a giant tap out. He says that Edge is not the best in the world at what he does, Chris says that he does. Jericho tells Sheamus to choose him as his next opponent.

Khali chops Jericho off the turnbuckles to the floor.

We see footage from last week’s Daniel Bryan versus Michael Tarver match that was interrupted by Alex Riley and The Miz.

Josh Mathews is with John Cena in the interview area. Josh asks John about Miz last week. John says that he does not regret choosing Daniel Bryan over Miz. He says that Bryan did great and Miz almost cost them the match. Ever since Miz won his Money in the Bank challenge, he has a bigger mouth and attitude problem. Cena says that he shuts it with an Attitude Adjustment.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jillian says that she was Divas Champion before and she will be Divas Champion again tonight. Jillian sends Melina to the mat and Jillian goes to the turnbuckles for a screaming leg drop but she misses when Melina moves. Melina with the Banshee Code Red for the three count.

Winner: Melina

After the match, Michelle and Layla are on the TitanTron. They say that they feel bad for what they did at SummerSlam, but they really didn’t. Since next week is the 900th episode of Raw, they have an offer for Melina that she can’t refuse.

Josh is in the locker room with the Miz and Josh wants to know if Miz wants to respond to what John Cena said earlier. Miz says that he nailed Daniel Bryan in the back of the head, but what about Cena. Cena put Team WWE at risk. The minute Cena chose a nobody over him. Miz says that Cena wants to talk about egos, but really? Miz says that after the WWE Title Match at SummerSlam, Sheamus had to be carried out. Did Miz cash in his Money in the Bank? No, because he was thinking about Team WWE. Cena should have talked to him about the decision. Instead, he tried to embarrass Miz in front of the world. Tonight, he will beat Cena and show him that there will be consequences for his actions. As for Sheamus, he doesn’t think that Sheamus will pick him, but it doesn’t matter because he can pick Sheamus any time he wants and anywhere. He might pick Sheamus tonight.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sheamus is back on his throne.

Wade Barrett and the rest of Nexus come out and we have something from the General Messenger. Cole goes to the Computer of General Managerdom. He says that he requested for Nexus to come out because he was impressed with their performances. The ‘you can’t wrestle for titles’ ban has been lifted.

Wade gets in Sheamus’ face and Sheamus turns paler than usual. Wade tells Sheamus that their truce is over.

Sheamus sits down and thinks about what that means for him.

The Miz and John Cena walk in split screen in their t-shirts which you can get online.

We go to commercial.

We are back with the Slam of the Week: Miz and Alex Riley attacking Daniel Bryan last week.

Match Number Four: John Cena versus Miz

They circle each other in the ring and Miz with a kick and punches.

TNA Impact Results
Aired On: 8/19/2010
Report by: Stuart Carapola & PWInsider.com

We start off with footage from moments ago, as Jeff Hardy, after waiting all day for him to appear, in engaged in a backstage brawl with Abyss. Predictably, Abyss gets the upper hand, and they brawl through the back, out into the crowd, and down to ringside. They blur out Jeff Hardy’s buttcrack, which was sticking out of the top of his jeans, as Abyss continues to batter him around ringside. We actually see the fans filing into the building as they fight, and Hardy turns things around with a chairshot as they brawl back through an unpopulated section of the crowd and backstage again, past where Orlando Jordan’s couch used to be, and Abyss wraps electrical cables around Hardy’s face and yanks back. Hardy gets free and they continue fighting through the backstage area as I continue to be distracted by Hardy’s blurry buttcrack. They brawl out of the building to where the fans are waiting in line to get in, and Overzealous Security Inc run out and choke Hardy with their nightsticks and pull him away.

Right from there, we go back into the (now full) arena as Dave Scherer’s favorite person, Eric Bischoff, makes his way into the ring. He says that never in his 20 years has he seen something as horrific as what we saw last week. He holds Ric Flair responsible for the attack on EV2.0, and he apologizes to Dixie Carter and swears that they will hold Ric Flair accountable. Words cannot describe what they did to RVD, and then he uses words like horrific and despicable to describe what they did to RVD. Before Bischoff goes, he wants to update us on RVD’s condition: he went to the hospital and visited Rob, who is held together by staples, stitches, and pins, and his doctor fears that he has numerous punctured organs, and…get this…he may have had trauma. Eric promises that when RVD is able to crawl out of that hospital, everyone will welcome him back because he’ll always have a home in TNA, but the fact is that the show must go on, and after meeting with RVD’s doctors, Dixie Carter, and Hulk Hogan, they made the decision he knows the fans and RVD would want: they have decided to vacate the TNA World Title. There will be a tournament that will begin this week and will conclude at Bound For Glory, and his thoughts and prayers are with RVD, but the show must go on and it will…right after this commercial.

World Title Tournament, First Round: Rob Terry vs Jeff Hardy

Hardy attacks Terry before the bell and dropkicks Terry’s legs out from under him, then tries a crossbody but gets caught and slammed. Hardy is wearing his street clothes and no makeup. Terry goozles Hardy and drives him up the ropes and then chokeslams him out into the middle of the ring. Terry puts Hardy in the corner and rams his shoulder to Hardy’s ribs and then whips Hardy across the ring, but Hardy dodges the charge and hits a pair of springboard dropkicks in the corner, then drags Terry out to the middle and covers him for 2. Hardy up top and almost hits the Whisper In The Wind for 2, and then we see two replays of him missing the move. Hardy comes off the second rope right into a clothesline from Terry, and Terry almost hits his spinkick and then tries it again and…HOLY CRAP, HE ACTUALLY CONNECTS WITH IT! Terry goes for a running powerslam, but two properly executed moves in a row is too much to ask of Rob Terry, and Hardy slips out, hits the Twist of Fate, follows it up with the Swanton, and picks up the win.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

Meanwhile, in the back, Ric Flair and Fortune are getting out of a limo…and with them is a suit-clad Douglas Williams. Ah, the plot thickens…

We go to a video package recapping the events of last week, as Fortune attacked EV2.0 at the end of the show and Tommy Dreamer tells Dixie Carter to make it right, because she doesn’t want them making it right.

From there, we catch Hulk Hogan outside talking on his cell phone and teases us by saying he’s thinking of quitting over the RVD situation. He’s appalled that they want to replace RVD because it’d be like replacing the President. Hogan says he’s going to sit outside and pout because he doesn’t think he can go back inside.

Back to the ring as the tournament continues…

World Title Tournament, First Round: Jay Lethal vs Ken Anderson

They warily circle each other and tie up, Anderson takes a headlock, Lethal fires him off into the ropes, and Anderson takes him down with a shoulderblock. Anderson catches Lethal on a leapfrog, but Lethal escapes and gets an STO and they have a standoff. Now Lethal gets a headlock, Anderson tries to hiptoss out but Lethal reverses to a hiptoss of his own and dropkicks Anderson for 2. Lethal puts the boots to Anderson in the corner but gets whipped into the corner, he tries to leapfrog out but Anderson catches him and this time holds onto him long enough to hit a Regal Roll. Fans chant “asshole” at Anderson as he whips Lethal into the ropes and catches him coming off with a back elbow and covers for 2. Anderson with a front facelock, dangerously close to HITTING THE CHINLOCK!, but Lethal escapes and comes off the ropes right into a clothesline, and Anderson covers for another 2. Anderson with another whip, Lethal ducks the clothesline and hits the handspring elbow off the ropes. Lethal chops Anderson in the corner, whips him across the ring and gets backdropped to the apron, but nails Anderson and tries a springboard dropkick, but Anderson dodges, hits the Mic Check, and that’s all she wrote.

Winner: Ken Anderson

Solid match. Anderson helps Lethal to his feet and they shake.

Backstage, Christy tells Angelina Love that Madison Rayne has invoked her rematch clause and she’ll be challenging for the Knockouts Title tonight. Angelina says she never expects a fair fight from Madison, and she was able to whine and cry until she got her title handed back to her last night, but it’s not going to happen tonight. She says to go ahead and bring Dumpy Ass, because Angelina has some backup of her own.

We go back to last week on TNA Reaction, as the Motor City Machine Guns were backstage saying they proved that they are the best team in the world, and then we see a clip of the finish of last week’s Match 5 of the Best Of Five Series between the MCMG and Beer Money. The feeling of being out there in front of the people was greater than anything, and they’ve been teaming for four years and they are now at the top of the mountain. The other teams have a lot to live up to with the MCMG, and it won’t be easy. We now go to a video package wondering what’s next for the MCMG, and the champs will be in action next week! But right now, another title is on the line…

Knockoots Title Match: Angelina Love vs Madison Rayne

Get it? Angelina Love is the Knockoots Champion…you know, because she’s Canadian. Ah, get outta here. Madison is driven to the ring by Dumpy Ass, who joins her at ringside for the match. Angelina, meanwhile, is joined by…Velvet Sky! Wow, didn’t see that one coming. Angelina kicks Dumpy Ass’s dumpy ass and rams her into the ring apron, but Madison lays out Velvet Sky and stops Angelina from taking Dumpy’s helmet off and exposing the other mask underneath. They head into the ring and the bell sounds as we’re reminded to follow Dixie Carter’s Twitter. Madison does her head hump thing for 2, covers again and still gets 2. Madison with a series of knees to the midsection of Angelina, but Angelina reverses out and gets a Pittsburgh Plunge, then powerslams Madison. Angelina goes to the ropes and Dumpy Ass grabs Angelina’s ankle, but Velvet takes Dumpy out and then grabs Madison’s ankle, setting up Angelina to hit the Botox Injection for the win.

Winner: Angelina Love

Velvet joins Angelina in the ring and they have a short staredown, then raise each other’s hands. Madison and Dumpy Ass jump them from behind and leave them laying.

Meanwhile, Ric Flair and Fortune are backstage, and they’re…WALKING!

We watch the same video package recapping the EV2.0/Fortune/Abyss angle from last week, then we head back to the ring where Flair is in the ring with Fortune. He asks if someone used the word power, and he says this is what you call Impact with power. Kazarian, AJ, Beer Money, and now we add Doug Williams and Matt Morgan. Flair throws up the four fingers even though there’s six of them, and he says you’d better love Fortune because they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. He goes on to call EV2.0 a circus act and a bunch of undisciplined animals, and says they’re not wrestlers and don’t belong in the business. The marquee says pro wrestling, not garbage cans and kendo sticks. Flair tells EV2.0 to kiss his ass and Fortune’s ass, and just smile and be glad about the fact that they’re part of TNA. AJ takes the mic and says that EV2.0 couldn’t leave well enough alone, they just had to come in and be on TV one last time. They wanted a hardcore finale, and that’s exactly what they got. Nobody has wrestled in this ring more than AJ Styles, he is TNA and TNA is AJ Styles, this is the house that AJ STyles built. Dixie Carter comes out from the back and tells AJ that he helped build this house, but make no mistake, she owns it. It’s her house, and if it’s her house, it’s their house…and here comes EV2.0, looking like they got beat up again before they walked out. Dixie says she’s given Flair the benefit of the doubt since he came here and that’s over. Before last Thursday, none of these guys had contracts, but now they all do. Flair asks what on his resume says he takes any crap from women, and Dreamer says that he is the living legend of this business, and if Dixie didn’t tell them to stay back, they’d all come kick their asses right now. But what she did was acknowledged last night, and it’s all about now, and it’s time to leave Hogan and everything else in the past, because now it’s TNA. Foley told Flair how great it was to be part of TNA and to forget what anyone else said about what to do, and to make the move that’s right for him, so Flair came to TNA. Foley has a life full of regrets, but if he could change one thing, he would have never brought Flair to TNA. Flair challenges him to roll around in the thumbtacks with him one more time, but Foley says he doesn’t take his orders from Ric Flair, he takes them from Dixie Carter. Flair said Flair is here for Flair, and tells Foley to go home and get soft in his chair. Dreamer says that RVD is their friend and they will get Abyss, then tells AJ that he did build this house and they had nothing but respect for him until last week. They may all be tired and beat up, but tonight it’s going to be Dreamer vs Styles in his house, and they’re definitely going to make it…EXTREME.

We go backstage to Kurt Angle, who said it’s been a living hell to get through the first half of the Top Ten, but now it’s a tournament and he’s been through these before in high school, college, and on the Olympic level, and he’s only three wins away from regaining the TNA World Title.

Back to the ring as the tournament continues…

World Title Tournament, First Round: X-Division Champion Douglas Williams vs Kurt Angle

This ought to be good. They tie up and Angle takes Williams to the corner and breaks clean. Angle takes Williams down with a headlock, but Williams gets to his feet and takes Angle to the corner and tries to suckerpunch him, but Angle blocks and nails him, but then Williams catches Angle’s boot on a kick, kicks him in the thigh, and legwhips him. Angle recovers and fires back on Williams, but Williams headbutts him in the midsection and tosses Angle to the floor. Williams goes out after him and tosses him back in the ring, then slams Angle and hits some springboard kneedrops for 2. Angle tries firing back again but Williams with a European Uppercut and a snap gutwrench suplex for 2. Williams with a three quarter nelson, but Angle escapes and starts running over Williams with elbows and backdrops him. Angle whips him into the corner, eats boot on a charge, but catches Williams charging out with an overhead suplex. Williams counters another suplex by ramming Angle into the corner and following in with a high knee. Williams goes up top and hits a corkscrew elbow off the top for 2. Williams sets up for Chaos Theory but Angle with a switch and the Rolling Germans for 2. The straps come down and Angle goes for the Angle Slam, but Williams escapes and almost hits the Chaos Theory, but Angle rolls through and catches Williams with an anklelock and grapevines the leg for the tapout win.

Winner: Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle is now only two wins away from regaining the TNA World Title. Still to come tonight, AJ Styles vs Tommy Dreamer.

Sting and Kevin Nash are backstage, and they’re…WALKING!

Backstage, Ken Anderson says that he’s in the final four and he hopes RVD will be okay, but the show must go on and a win’s a win.

Sting and Kevin Nash come out to the ring and I can guarantee you right now, before they even open their mouths, that we won’t understand a damn thing that happens in this segment. Nash says he’s known Sting for 20 years, and they’ve had their disagreements, but there’s nobody in this business he respects more than Sting. Nash has been called a cancer and a lot of other things, but after 20 years and 20 operations, he’s not out here for just the money, he’s here because he loves to do what he does, and he’ll be damned if somebody tells him it’s his time to step aside. First, nobody tells him anything, they ask him, and if they want his spot, come take it. Nash says TNA is this close to turning the edge and making it happen, but the cancer isn’t in this ring, it’s in the back, and the whole magic act and smoke and mirrors, he says he’s wasting his time and maybe he is, but he wants to tell us the truth…and here comes Jeff Jarrett, who asks if Nash really wants to tell the truth, because the guy who’s really full of BS is Nash. A leopard never changes his spots, and it’s always been about Big Sexy Kevin Nash, who never gave a damn about anybody and that’s never going to change. And as far as Sting goes, Jarrett can open a closet door and talk about all his skeletons and tell the world what kind of man he really is, but he’s not going to do that. What Jarrett will do, is that there’s a locker room full of guys who are tired of the games they’ve been playing, and as far as Hogan and Bischoff go and all they’ve done for the company, the whole company has been better off since they got here. So what Jarrett will do tonight will be in honor of a 20 year wrestling executive in Eric Bischoff and the greatest box office attraction ever in Hulk Hogan, he’s going to grab a chair and beat both their asses. Suddenly, Hulk Hogan comes out and says Jarrett’s not going to do it by himself. Jarrett built this company up, and he and Eric came in to help him finish the job. Everyone knows what Nash and Sting are all about, and they’re jealous because the spotlight’s on the young guys right now and not them. So right now, they’re going to come down to the ring and settle this, and challenges Sting to put the bat aside and do it like a man for a change. Sting tosses the bat out of the ring and Jarrett and Hogan come down to the ring and step inside…and the lights go out. When they come back up, Fortune is in the ring beating up Kevin Nash and Sting while Hogan and Jarrett are laid out on the other side of the ring. They finish beating up the old men and flash their new Fortune hand signal as we go to commercial.

Backstage, Raven is telling Tommy Dreamer that they should have killed Fortune, and Tommy says not to tell him anything, and to look at the bigger picture. They once again put over the opportunity Dixie Carter gave them as everyone tries to talk sense into Raven.

Back to the ring for the final first round match…

World Title Tournament, First Round: Matt Morgan vs The Pope

Pope sticks and moves on Morgan, and it looks like his strategy will be to stay out of Morgan’s reach. Morgan grabs him and launches him into the corner, but Pope dodges the charge and beats Morgan down in the corner and puts the boots to him, then hits the springboard twisting senton for 2. Pope comes off the second rope and Morgan goozles him, Pope fights free and comes off the ropes but Morgan nails him with a discus clothesline
. Morgan puts Pope in the corner and chokes him with his boot and then hits the machine gun elbows. Morgan follows that up with a running splash in the corner and goes for a side suplex, but just drops Pope instead of slamming him. Morgan kicks Pope into the corner as we see a Schrute Buck laying in the corner, and Morgan charges in but eats boot and Pope comes off the top with a sunset flip, but Morgan yanks him up by the neck and gets a choke bomb, but yells at him instead of going for the cover. Pope tries to fight back but Morgan beats him down and chokes him on the top rope and gets a Boss Man splash on the top rope! Nice. Morgan pulls Pope to the floor and rams him backfirst into the ring apron, and as Pope regains his footing, Morgan tries to Carbon Footprint him into the ringpost, but Pope moves and Morgan crotches himself on the ringpost. Pope follows him in with the DDE and pulls him into the ring and covers for the win.

Winner: The Pope

The semifinals are now set: Kurt Angle will take on Jeff Hardy, and the Pope will face Ken Anderson.

Backstage, Mick Foley says he watched what happened to EV2.0, and he was spared the worst of it because he got knocked out early, but he is part of EV2.0 and there will be revenge. His doctor said he won’t be ready to get in there for another couple of weeks so he’ll need to let the others lead the charge, but he’ll eventually join his guys in their fight against Fortune.

Main event time…

AJ Styles vs Tommy Dreamer

AJ goes after Tommy’s bad knee to start, but Tommy catches AJ’s foot on a kick and shoves him down. AJ tries a charge but gets backdropped to the floor, and Tommy goes out after him and hits a rolling senton off the apron. Tommy rams AJ into the guardrail and slams him on the floor, and then rolls him back in the ring. AJ nails him coming back in and works him over in the corner, but Tommy catches AJ on a leapfrog attempt and hits a running powerslam for 2. Dreamer chops AJ in the corner and hits a pump handle suplex for 2. Tommy gets on top of AJ and starts raining down punches and then picks him up, but AJ surprises him with a shot to the throat and a Pelle kick. AJ starts firing rights into the skull of Dreamer, who is now busted open, then picks Tommy up, slams him, and hits the big kneedrop. AJ continues the assault on Tommy and chokes him on the second rope, yelling to the camera that he’s going to kill him. Tommy with a sunset flip out of nowhere for 2, but AJ immediately recovers and hits a dropkick, then we finally HIT THE CHINLOCK! It doesn’t last long, as Tommy back suplexes his way out of it, but AJ recovers with a shot to the gut and another Pelle kick. AJ goes out to the apron and goes for the springboard elbow, but Tommy catches him coming in with an inverted atomic drop and a DDT. Fortune begins to make their way out to ringside, but EV2.0 cuts them off and a brawl erupts in the aisleway. Suddenly, Abyss comes out of nowhere from under the ring and attacks Dreamer and gives him the Black Hole Slam, then bails to the floor. AJ Styles crawls over and covers Tommy and gets the win.

Winner: AJ Styles

The EV2.0-Fortune feud continues at ringside as Abyss escapes through the crowd, and we’re off the air.

Which two men go home tonight?

We are live from Bakersfield, California and your announcers are Michael ‘Extra Cheese’ Cole and Josh ‘Tough Enough was better’ Mathews. Your host is Matt ‘My ears bleed on PPVs too’ Striker.

The rookies come to the ring while the pros for five of the rookies are on the stage.

Matt is with the rookies in the ring to remind us about the double elimination and how there will be three men left for the season finale in two weeks. The rookies are going to be given one minute to talk about anything other than why they shouldn’t be eliminated.

Percy talks about 3D and he says that he would need more than a minute to talk about double D. The three ‘Ds’ are the way he lives his life. Desire, dedication, and determination. Desire means you gotta know what you want. You have to be dedicated to the craft and put your time in. You also need to be able to go get it. Percy says that he has the desire, determination, and dedication to win Season Two of NXT. OH YEAH!!

Alex is next and he talks about Alex Riley. Alex says that he knows that his behavior might not have come correct with the WWE Universe. Maybe he made a mistake because he is ranked fifth. Alex says that he shouldn’t have called Matt a nerd on national television. Alex says that it was funny so he doesn’t regret that. Alex says that if he didn’t do that stuff, he wouldn’t . . . he wouldn’t be out of time.

Michael talks about his competition. He says that if you grew up in the south like him, if you don’t have a pair of cowboy boots, you aren’t tough. Husky says that he always had a pair of boots. He says that they were Barry Windham’s boots. When he puts them on, he turns into a monster, the army tank with a Ferrari engine. He says that the devil wears cowboy boots and it is a coincidence that he does too.

Matt says that the first elimination takes place right now.

Matt says that some of the pros aren’t here but they have voted.

We go to the random elimination Generator and it is . . . Which one of the four remaining rookies leaves?

We go to commercial.

We are back with the video package showing what happened during SummerSlam week.

It is now time to take a look at what happened last night on Raw with the Raw Rebound.

Michael Cole and Josh Mathews join Matt in the ring. Matt asks Michael who should win and who should be eliminated. Michael says that impact means the ability to effect change. He says that Alex Riley should win season two. The person who made the least impact is the person who has no charisma, had a worse record than the people eliminated. The person who is an internet creation and darling, just like Susan Boyle. He says that Kaval should be eliminated. He should take his unimpactful stare with him when he is eliminated.

Josh says that since the Michael Cole show is over. He says that he is right. With what we saw from Kaval and the others. He says that Kaval should be eliminated and that Alex Riley should win.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to see who will join Percy on the airport shuttle while three men will move on in the competition.

Matt says that whoever remains will be one step closer to being the next breakout star and the man who earns a title match on pay per view.

The random NXT Eliminatron shows us that Husky Harris is the rookie going home.

Cody wonders what is up with the pros. He tells Zack luck in his future endeavors. He calls Layla a pro for wanting to make out with the rookies. Cody says that the fans shouldn’t have a say in thinks. He tells the fans that they have no idea what it is to be a pro. Cody tells Husky that his time is coming. Cody tells Alex to make an impact. He says that Alex is awful. He tells Micahel that he wants to be Mr. Perfect Junior so bad he can taste it but he doesn’t deserve it. Cody attacks Kaval and Husky joins in. Kofi and MVP come to ringside to help out Kaval and Porter and Kofi attack Husky and send him into the ringside barrier.

Kaval goes up top and he hits a double stomp on Harris. The other pros stand with Kaval while Cody heads to the back. Porter and Kingston tell Harris to leave and he obliges.

We go to credits.

Last night's 23rd annual SummerSlam event pitted The Nexus Seven against Team WWE. Team WWE went in with Six men after Nexus took out The Great Khali last week. The Miz eventually said "Yes" to joining Team WWE, but they didn't need him as John Cena's SummerSlam Team instead recruited former Nexus member Daniel Brian.

Nexus make an entrance and line up as usual in the ring. Leader Wade Barrett talks on the mic as the fans boo. Barrett says that Team WWE only narrowly escaped with a victory last night. He says that Nexus still defeated Six of WWE's best last night and he goes on to say that The Nexus are still here. Their defeat last night Barrett says, will only lead to consequences for WWE to pay. Barrett continues to threaten WWE with even more destruction, but then we hear the music of John Cena. Cena comes out on stage and mocks The Nexus. He tells that they must be regretting getting rid of Daniel Brian, because Brian was the one that elminated the majority of The Nexus last night. Cena then picks at each member of The Nexus after saying that if not anything, WWE learned last night that Nexus can be beat. Cena's verbal tirade on The Nexus lasts for a while, but then as the fans laugh at The Nexus *BLEEP* *BLEEP* Michael Cole gets to the podium and announces, on behalf of the annonymous General Manager, that tonight there will be a series of matches involving the competitors from last night's SummerSlam main event. Outside interference by Nexus members will be met by swift and aproapriate consequences. Wade Barrett then says that this is a good thing because Nexus tonight not only have a chance for redemption, but also have the opportunity to fish out any weak links in their group. "Whoever loses tonight, will be kicked out of Nexus." David Otunga then says that the same then goes for Barrett, if he loses, he's out too. *BLEEP* *BLEEP* Cole then announces that the Nexus members can choose ammongst themselves who faces which member from Team WWE. However, Wade Barrett's opponent is pre-determined as his former Pro on NXT; Chris Jericho. And that match is next!

Wade Barrett vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho spends the early exchange on top, but it's not long before Wade Barrett changes the pace. He hits a big boot on Jericho whilst Jericho's on the top rope and Jericho falls to ringside. Barrett follows and barges Jericho spine-first into the ring apron. Back in the ring Barrett launches Jericho hard from one corner of the ring to the other into the turnbuckles. The match goes on and Jericho does well to get a near fall after a huge missile dropkick from the middle rope to Wade Barrett. Jericho then goes for the Walls, Barrett though gets out of it to get up and pick Jericho up in the fireman's carry. Jericho though rolls him through into a crucifix and then he does lock in the Walls of Jericho. Barrett though gets his long arms to the ropes and after an exchange Barrett hits a huge boot to Jericho and then manages to turn a CodeBreaker attempt into his forward firemans' slam. One, Two, Three. Wade Barrett survives.

Winner: Wade Barrett!

Backstage we see the other Nexus members by a flat-screen and they look on as their leader has set the marker for the evening.

When we return from the commercial break we are introduced to tonights guest hosts, stars of new film Going The Distance; Jason Sedekis, Charlie Day and Justin Long! The trio make their way to the ring and talk of how cool it is to be on RAW. They then compliment the NBA Champions the LA Lakers, but then say that next years Champions will be the Miami Heat. They then go on to introduce The Hart Dynasty. Natalya Neidhart leads out Tyson Kidd and DH Smith. They seem happy to be there as they enter the ring and the guest hosts meet them for a moment before exiting. *BLEEP* *BLEEP* Cole announces that the Unified Tag Team Championships will now be known as the WWE Tag Team Titles and the man that will present the new Belts to The Hart Dynasty is WWE Hall of Famer Bret 'The Hitman' Hart! Bret comes to the ring with the new Championships Belts and the fans cheer as he presents the Titles to his family. On the titantron though Nexus come up and tell that their member to face Bret Hart later tonight is going to be none other than Justin Gabriel. Gabriel says that Hart will feel his 450 Splash tonight. The Hitman looks like he's looking forward to it.

Before the next match, camera's are outside and we are shown WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Michael Tarver vs. Daniel Brian

The contest is a good one with Tarver's brute strength against Brian's excellent wrestling capabilities. During the match Cole and King argue consistently about how good/bad Daniel Brian is. Brian hits a missile dropkick and momentum is in his favour, but then we see The Miz and Alex Riley run down to distract Brian before Tarver can roll him up for the Three count.

Winner: Michael Tarver!

After the match Brian suicide dives on The Miz. Tarver and Riley though pull him off and hold him as Miz beats him up and then finishes him off with the Skull-Crushing Finale on the Money In The Bank Briefcase.

After the break we have Josh Matthews catch up with Miz and Riley backstage. Miz says that his rivalry with Daniel Brian is a mockery of his career. He says that everyone thinks Daniel Brian is so special, but the next WWE break-out star is standing right next to him. Alex Riley then mocks Brian calling him "boring" before walking off with The Miz.

Elsewhere backstage, we're in The Nexus locker room and Darren Young tells his team-mates that he wants to be the one who faces John Cena tonight. David Otunga tells him that he respects Young's guts especially after what Cena did to him last month. Nexus member Skip Sheffield and leader Wade Barrett agree and pat him on the back. We then see Justin Gabriel make his entrance and after the break when we rejoin we hear *BLEEP* *BLEEP* The GM (via Michael Cole) says that Bret Hart is not going to be Justin Gabriel's opponent here tonight. "I don't like Bret Hart, I never have. In fact I don't want Bret Hart to ever compete here on WWE RAW ever again." The GM then announces Bret Hart's replacement...

Justin Gabriel vs. Randy Orton

Gabriel begins by shoving Orton in the chest and that may be a big mistake as Orton looks as focussed as ever. Jerry Lawler on commentary says that he's shocked at how the General Manager addressed Bret Hart, but he's happy to see Randy Orton in action right here. Michael Cole reminds us that by Nexus' own ruling, if Gabriel loses here then he'll be kicked out of their faction. The match goes on and Orton has Gabriel down. He hits the deck and stalks Gabriel, slithering around the ring, waiting to strike with an RKO, but then Orton sees Sheamus come down the ramp. Orton exits the ring and fights Sheamus into the crowd. But at the same time as fighting the WWE Champion, the referee is counting - he's on Nine, and then Ten!

Winner by way of Count-out: Justin Gabriel!

Randy Orton floors Sheamus, but then sees that he's been counted out as the referee raises Gabriel's hand. Orton though gets into the ring and Gabriel turns and *BAM* RKO! The Viper strikes! Orton is livid and he then goes to ringside to pick up a chair and we then witness Orton virtually hammer Sheamus down. Sheamus is laid out by the commentary table after the fight he had with Orton in the crowd and Orton whacks at Sheamus' back over and over and over again. Finally he goes to leave and the fans are chanting 'Randy! Randy! Randy!' But then as Orton's about to leave he notices that Sheamus is getting up. Orton runs around ringside back toward Sheamus and he's ready to strike again; RKO on the WWE Champion right onto the mat at ringside and Randy Orton has never been so intense! The fans are going bersurk as Orton leaves.

Skip Sheffield & David Otunga vs. John Morrison & R-Truth

The commentary team remind us that Nexus tonight are so far three for three. Cole also tells that this one won't be easy for Truth and Morrison because Skip Sheffield alone last night eliminated both of them. The match gets underway after Truth has the fans going with his "What's Up?" entrance. Truth goes toe-to-toe with David Otunga, but Otunga soon tags out and Skip Sheffield comes in to dominate R-Truth. We see the other Nexus members look on while watching their flat-screen in their locker room. In the ring Otunga comes back in and Truth manages to tag Morrison. Morrison gets the better of Otunga, but Sheffield again tags in (blind) and he throws his devastating clothesline to knock Morrison out cold and Nexus pick up the victory.

Winners: Skip Sheffield and David Otunga!

Walking along backstage the King describes them as a "welcome diversion" as we see Gail Kim, new Diva's Champion Melina and Eve Torres look set to make their way to the ring. Six-diva tag action is next!

Eve Torres, Gail Kim & Melina vs. Maryse, Jillian Hall & Alicia Fox

Before this match gets going we turn our attentions to John Lovitz who's in the crowd tonight and Cole and King remind us that Lovitz is smitten with Maryse. In the ring Lovitz isn't seeing much of what he likes though as Gail and Melina do a good double teaming job on Maryse. After a moment Maryse turns the tides and makes the tag and Alicia comes in to take it to Melina. The match goes on and eventually Jillian and Eve are the legal Diva's as some Diva action spills to ringside with Gail and Maryse going at it and Melina and Alicia pull each others' hair out. Jillian then does a good job of preventing middle rope offence from Eve and she manages to get the roll-up victory.

Winners: Jillian, Maryse and Alicia Fox.

After the match the victorious Diva's celebrate while Gail and Melina tend to Eve. Backstage Josh Matthews gets a word Edge, but the interview is cut short as Heath Slater approaches. Slater tells Edge that he models himself on The Rated 'R' SuperStar, so maybe Edge should take the fall tonight, or not show and just forfeit, just take the night off. Edge tells Slater that he's not going to have a loss on his record against some Edge wannabe and that he fully intends to beat him tonight. Edge goes to walk off, but then Slater floors him from behind with a forearm to the upper back.

Heath Slater vs. Edge

The match gets underway and Edge is very much on top in the early stages. He floors Slater and then goes to the top rope, but Slater knocks him off balance down to the apron and then baseball slides him to ringside. Slater sends Edge into the barricade before bring him back in the ring and his momentum continues as he gets a near fall on Edge. After missing a splash Slater is then on the back-foot as Edge then takes him down and he too gets a near fall. The two exchange. Slater gets a Two-count and then the two of them battle to ringside. Edge measures a spear toward Slater who's by the stairs but as he approaches Slater side-steps and gets back into the ring. Edge looks up and the ref calls for the bell. Edge has been counted out!

Winner: Heath Slater!

Edge can't believe it. He hit the breaks, didn't collide with the stairs, but Slater got back in the ring and King even tells that he didn't realize the ref was even counting. Heath Slater meanwhile celebrate by climbing the turnbuckle. Edge though isn't leaving, he gets into the ring and as Slater comes back down, Edge nails him with a spear! Huge spear, but Edge lost and now Nexus have only one more stepping stone; John Cena versus Darren Young is their final test of the night.

When we come back The Great Khali and Runjin Singh have a funny moment backstage with the guest hosts. Khali ends by leaving with The Bellas. After that we see a video package that highlights WWE's fan Axxess of their SummerSlam weekend. Backstage in the arena we see John Cena walking and he's due out next for the main event.

Darren Young vs. John Cena

Moments before the bell rings we see the rest of The Nexus members come out on stage. The commentary team remind us that they cannot interfere, but this may play a part in mind games. The match begins in the ring and Young tries to get an early cover on Cena, but Cena easily rolls out. The two then exchange headlocks before Cena hits a shoulder knock-down to then put another headlock on Young. But Young lifts Cena to hit a backdrop, then a legdrop and then get a Two-count as The Nexus watch on. Darren Young then does a good job of keeping the pressure on Cena as he gets another Two-count after hitting a swinging kneckbreaker. Young has a rear chinlock on Cena, but Cena powers Young away, but then just as Cena tries to gather momentum Darren Young throws a back elbow at John Cena and Young then once again gets a near fall after an exchange. Young then hits an impressive suplex into a bridged cover and gets another Two-count. Young is frustrated and he throws Cena to ringside. He follows and then slams Cena's head off the top of the steel stairs. He floors Cena with the help of the stairs and Young gets ack into the ring as the referee counts. The count gets to Nine, but Cena manages to get back into the ring. Young is frustrated, but Cena has new life when he's back in the ring. Cena hits his array of moves that lead up to the Five Knuckle Shuffle and Cena hits it. John Cena has the fans cheering as he then lifts Young for the Attitude Adjustment, but Young gets out of it and tries to roll Cena through into a cover, but John Cena then rolls though that right into the STF! Cena's got it locked on and Young has nowhere to go, he has no choice and he taps out!

Winner: John Cena!

After the match Cena's music and celebrations are cut short as Nexus come quickly down to the ring. They surround the ring and then climb the apron. John Cena though has a gap to exit and slowly he does back off. Nexus weren't surrounding Cena, they were surrounding Darren Young. Young gets up and appologizes to his buddies, but to no avail. They beat him down like a pack of dogs and Tarver and Otunga hold Young up for Skip Sheffield to take him down with a thunderous clothesline. Only the strong survive it seems as Wade Barrett sets Young up with his firemans' carry slam for Justin Gabriel to go to the top rope and finish Darren Young off with the 450 Splash. After replays of the action The Nexus Six stand over their former comrade as King finishes on behalf od Wade Barrett; "You're either Nexus, or against us."

WWE SummerSlam Results (8/15)
Wrote By: Farook Razak of Wrestling-Radio.com

We've been waiting for a while and now WWE's 23rd Annual SummerSlam is finally here. Tonight in Los Angeles, California we will see Rey Mysterio challenge Kane for the World Heavyweight Title, The Straight-Edge Society go head-on with Big Show, Randy Orton is set to challenge The Celtic Warrior Sheamus for the WWE Championship and John Cena's team of six needs a seventh man as they are poised to take on the offspring of NXT Season 1; The Nexus! We're Live in the home of the NBA Champions and the Staples Center is rocking as the commentary trio of Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and Matt Striker get us underway.

Dolph Ziggler (c) w/ Vickie Guerrero vs. Kofi Kingston

Intercontinental Championship match

Before Kofi's entrance Vickie Guerrero gets on the mic and says "Excuse me" a few times before Kofi interrupts by making his entrance. Vickie doesn't get her chance for a word and this match gets going with Kofi going at Ziggler. It's not long though before Ziggler's on top and Dolph does a good job early to keep Kofi grounded. After a couple of Two-counts Ziggler continues the offence on Kofi Kingston with a jumping elbow drop. Kofi though manages to get to his feet and fight Ziggler off. Kofi backs off to the corner and Ziggler attempts a splash, but misses and after an exchange Ziggler is taken down with a dropkick and soon after Kingston performs the *Boop* *Boop* Boom Drop! Kofi then measures Ziggler to go for his finisher, but Ziggler catches him and rolls through, One, Two - a near fall and that was close. The two competitors exchange and then Kofi again goes for the Trouble in Paradise but Ziggler ducks and then takes Kofi close to his torso and locks on the sleeper! There's confusion though, panic stikes the arena - it's the Nexus seven!

Match thrown out.

Nexus come in and attack both Intercontinental competitors, with Kofi getting the brunt of it as leader Wade Barrett performs his devastating move on Kingston in the ring. Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero disappear from the scene. Wade Barrett then gets on the mic and tells that the Nexus know that WWE are looking for a seventh member to their team. Well, now they can't pick either Ziggler or Kingston. Barrett and Nexus make their statement as the Los Angeles audience boo.

In the locker room backstage we see MITB winner The Miz sitting smartly dressed with his briefcase. He's joined by Chris Jericho and Edge and the two of them try and tempt The Miz intp becoming team WWE's seventh man. Miz doesn't give a clear cut answer and leaves.

Alicia Fox (c) vs. Melina

Diva's Championship

Melina looks great in her sunrise attire here for SummerSlam as the home-town Diva makes her pay-per-view return in the WWE. The two ladies lock it up and Melina backs Fox into the corner and the referee forces the break. There's a stand-off as Melina looks confident with a smile on her face. Fox is frowning, but then after another lock-up she takes Melina down in a side headlock. Melina though doesn't stay on the back-foot for long as she gets Alicia Fox into the corner across both middle ropes and then elevates off the top rope to drive her knees into the midriff of the Women's Champion. Fox seems injured for a second, but the Diva's continue. Fox then goes at Melina's knee and Mel then seems hurt as the commentary team remind us that Melina was out injured because of that very knee. Melina seems okay after an exchange, but then after going from the apron into the ringpost, Melina is on the back-foot as Alicia takes control. Fox gets a near-fall or two but then Melina picks up some momentum after letting out one of her primal screams. She has gets Alicia Fox under control and then performs one of her less popular finishers to pick up the One, Two, Three!

Winner & new Diva's Champion: Melina!

After the match Josh Matthews almost gets a word with the new Champion, who has happy tears, but the interview is soon interrupted by SmackDown co-Women's Champions LayCool. Layla and Michelle McCool come to the ring to pretty much take the spotlight and they do as they end up taking Melina out and then punting her right into the side of the commentary table at ringside. LayCool leave satisfied and the new Diva's Champion is left out cold.

CM Punk, Luke Gallows & Joseph Mercury w/ Serena vs. Big Show

Before the match gets underway we see a medic take the tape off of Big Show's hand. The commentary team tell that it's now fully healled! Gallows goes in and feels the force of the strong right hand early. This is three-on-one tag and it doesn't take long for Big Show to swat Gallows and Mercury out of the way so that he can focus on CM Punk. Punk and Show go at it and soon they're at ringside by the steel stairs. Big Show lays Punk down over the top step and says "Shhhh" to the fans as he slaps down toward the leader of The SES. Punk though gets out the way and Big Show ends up slapping the top step and that's heard all over the arena. This is the chance for The Straight-Edge Society. The three of them take it to Show and then get him back in the ring to continue the assault as Serena looks on. After some team work though the Big Show gets some momentum back and he tosses Gallows and Mercury out the ring before going at it with Punk again. Punk though gets Big Show in the corner and hits three consecutive high knees right to the jaw of Big Show. After that it's not long before Show has all three of his competitors to deal with, but the odds seem to spur him on and Show manages to get Punk out of the ring. Gallows and Mercury try the double team but it doesn't work. Meanwhile Serena is leading CM Punk away from the ring and Show has Gallows down and then he chokeslams Joseph Mercury on top of him to pick up the One, Two, Three.

Winner: Big Show!

Backstage in a red area we see Kane and it's not long before Kane is joined by WWE Champion Sheamus. Sheamus says that the coffins not big enough, because he reckons Rey Mysterio's going to win tonight. Kane threatens Sheamus and says that it better be the last time Sheamus comes across the Big Red Machine.

In the ring we are set to see Sheamus in action next, but wait, The Miz makes an entrance. He gets into the ring and tells that he doesn't care what the WWE Universe thinks. He then tells that John Cena had literally begged him early that day in LA to become part of Team WWE tonight. Miz goes on to tell that every member of Team WWE has admitted that they need him tonight and the only people that haven't are the people of the WWE Universe. Miz tells that he is the future and the WWE Universe need to realise who The Miz really is. Miz then says that he has to make a decision wether he's going to join Team WWE. "The answer is... Yes." Michael Cole seems excited, but the fans don't as Miz again tells us how he's better than everybody and says that he's going to win the match for Team WWE tonight. "Because I'm The Miz, and I'mmmm Aweeesommeee!"

Sheamus (c) vs. Randy Orton

WWE Title on the line

The massive WWE Universe looks on in the Staples Center and worldwide as the introductions are made and the commentary team remind us of the unique stipulations put on this match by the annonymous WWE Raw General Manager. If Sheamus has any interference on his behalf then the person who gets involved will be Suspended indefinately. With Orton, if he loses then he goes to the back of the line and it will be a long while before he can work his way up the ladder to a Title shot again. The match is underway and Sheamus roars a few times at Orton, but The Viper takes exception to it and it's not long before Orton has Sheamus down for the Orton stomp. After that and the knee-drop Orton gets a near fall and the match continues. The two of them scuffle to ringside and at one point Orton forces Sheamus into the crowd. The referee gets to the count of Six though and Orton has to make sure he and his opponent get back into the ring as he cannot win the WWE Title via count-out. In the ring Orton positions Sheamus's torso under the bottom rope and then positions himself to hook the Champions' legs and catapult him up for Sheamus to emphaticly collide his Adam's Apple to the bottom rope. Sheamus falls to ringside and Orton persues to then throw Sheamus into the barricade. After an exchange at ringside Sheamus manages to lauch Randy Orton into the side of the Steel Stairs and now The Celtic Warrior is on top. He has Orton in the ring now and he keeps Randy grounded for a while. Orton though reverses a suplex for a suplex of his own and it's not long before he has Sheamus by the ropes, Sheamus' feet on the apron and Orton is going for that DDT of his, but Sheamus reverses and Orton goes high over the top rope. The two of them are on the outside and this is certainly a fight as Sheamus grinds his way to physically wear down Randy Orton. Sheamus gets Orton back in the ring and gets a Two count. Sheamus then puts on the Celtic Hammer right to the face of Orton and again Sheamus gets a Two-count. Sheamus spends some time on top with Orton grounded in the centre of the ring. He then puts a move set-up for a reverse DDT into a top backbreaker. One, Two - another Two-count. Sheamus' intensity increases, but Orton's resilience is not to be underestimated as Orton turns a headlock from Sheamus into a backdrop and then The Viper is on top as he hits his own vintage backbreaker as he hooks Sheamus' head and then drops him off his own back. Orton gets a Two-count and after an exchange the two competitors have a 'Boo!' 'Yay!' face-off in the middle of the ring as they exchange punches. Orton throws Sheamus against the ropes and then hits an impressive scoop bodyslam. The match goes on and Orton gets Sheamus into the corner to then hit a stunning superplex. An excellent match, still goes back and forth as Sheamus then hits his backbreaker to get another Two-count. Orton is down and Sheamus measures. Brogue Kick attempt but it's missed and Sheamus goes flying over the top rope and to the outside. As he tries to get back in, he makes a mistake and goes in head first into an Orton DDT from the middle rope. One, Two - ohh another Two-count! Orton stalks and it's RKO time - but no, Sheamus reverses! The match continues and Sheamus goes for a High Cross. Orton gets out of it and goes for an RKO again but Sheamus flings him toward the ropes and then nails him down on the rebound with a devastating Brogue Kick! Sheamus lands on Orton and surely this is over. One, Two, Th - no! Sheamus is livid, Randy Orton just kicked out of the Brogue Kick! Orton is down and Sheamus then doesn't know what to do to put Orton away. Sheamus then drops to ringside and then brings a chair into the ring. The referee tells Sheamus off and tries to take away the steel chair, but Sheamus then tosses him to ringside. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner by way of Disqualification: Randy Orton.

Sheamus is still Champion.

After the match Randy Orton has a sinister look on his face and he ends up beating the snot out of Sheamus to then conclude by RKOing the WWE Champion onto the commentary table at ringside. The table doesn't collapse and Sheamus gets medical attention as Randy Orton exits.

Rey Mysterio vs. Kane (c)

World Heavyweight Championship

Caskets and accusations abound in this one as both superstars blame each other for putting Kane's brother The UnderTaker in a vegetative state. Kane wheels a coffin to the ring and positions it at ringside, but we are reminded that this is not a Casket Match. Kane bringing the casket to the ring is a symbolic motivation almost for Kane in this match. It's not just that Kane wants to retain the World Title, to Kane, it's equally important to gain vengeance for his brother. In his mind, Rey Mysterio is to blame. The match gets underway and the two exchange for Rey to get an early 0.1 count on Kane. They exchange again as Kane angrily gets to his feet, but Mysterio then gets Kane dropped on the middle rope. A dial-up for the 6-1-9, but no connection. The match spreads to ringside with Rey nailling a seated senton from the apron, but soon after the two of them are back in the ring where Kane dropkicks Rey while he's down so that he goes back-first under the bottom rope and into the ring-post. Back at ringside and Kane gets Rey scooped horizontally to drive him a few times back first into the ring-post. In the ring Kane has Rey locked into a bear hug. The focus of Kane's attack has been to Mysterio's lower back and the pressure is on Rey to try and switch momentum. Mysterio manages to get out of the bear hug and even gets Kane over the middle rope again. Another dial-up for Rey's finisher, but Kane cuts him off early as he takes him down with a clothesline! Kane goes for the cover. One, Two - a near fall. After an exchange Kane decks Mysterio to ringside. The referee's Ten-count is on Eight and Rey manages to climb back in as Kane shakes his head alomst as if to say "why do you do this to yourself." The match continues as the commentary trio specualte that this may only be a matter of time before Kane picks up the victory. He's now dominating Mysterio and has him taken down in the middle of the ring with a thunderous side-walk-slam! One, Two - and Rey Mysterio kicks out. The match goes on and Rey does get into position for a Frankensteiner, but Kane hangs on and Rey goes down alone. Kane then goes for his clothesline off the top rope, but Mysterio gets out the way. Rey then gets on top and gets two close falls after a seated senton and a tilt-o-whirl DDT. Mysterio tries everything and does a buzz-saw-like kick to the temple of Kane, but again only gets a Two-count. The match goes on and Kane manages to get some rhythm back. he avoids a 6-1-9 and manages to get Mysterio laid into the casket! Rey boots his opponent away and the match then goes back and forth and Mysterio has the fans on their feet as he then does manage to hit the 6-1-9! Rey completes the move, but doesn't have the greatest of covers as Kane's able to kick out. Mysterio then gets up to continue at Kane, but The Big Red Machine is also up and he takes Rey's head off with a big boot. Kane then has Rey at his mercy and chokeslams Mysterio straight to hell. One. Two. Three.

Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: Kane!

After the SmackDown SummerSlam main event Kane gets on the mic to tell that he's going to complete his mission now. He goes at Rey who tries to fight him off, but to no avail. Kane hits another chokeslam and then a Tombstone. Rey Mysterio is motionless. Kane then drags Mysterio over to the cakset and the casket lid open on its own... it The UnderTaker! Kane backs off and looks shocked to see his brother there. The UnderTaker climbs out of the coffin to recieve a standing ovation from the crowd. Taker then gets in the ring to corner Rey Mysterio. We hear Taker ask Rey "why d'you do it?" but Mysterio continues to plead his innocense. Taker then threatens to go at Mysterio and the crowd boo, but then he turns to look at his brother and the fans in Los Angeles cheer! He steps toward kane and throws his open hand around the throat of Kane. He has him ready for a chokeslam, but Kane smiles, he then throws his hand around the throat of Taker and The UnderTaker is weak as the commenatry team remind us that he's just coming back from a vegetative state. Kane then gets his brother up and ready for a devastating Tombstone! The Big Red Machine stands over The UnderTaker and throws his arms up and then down to signal his turnbuckle hell-fire. Kane leaves with a sadistic smile and still World Heavyweight Champion. The commentary team discuss why Kane did such things to his brother and they conclude that it was for one thing; the World Heavyweight Championship.

The Nexus vs. Team WWE

(Michael Tarver. Justin Gabriel. David Otunga. Wade Barrett. Skip Sheffield. Heath Slater. Darren Young. vs. John Cena. Edge. R-Truth. Chris Jericho. John Morrison. Bret 'The Hitman' Hart. The Miz... nope...)

John Cena stops Miz in his tracks to reveal that Team WWE's seventh man is someone who hates the Nexus more than they do; "Daniel Brian!"

Seven on Seven Tag match

Team WWE storm the ring and Nexus back off to exit and regroup at ringside. The match begins and Daniel Brian begins to make Darrren Young tap after a a crossface! An early elimination, and it's huge for Team WWE. Jericho tags in and he and then R-Truth do a good job on Nexus' Justin Gabriel. Gabriel though rides the tide and does well to come back against Truth and then tag in Michael Tarver. Tarver corners Truth and spends a little time on top, but Truth battles and Morrison is tagged in. He takes it to Tarver and pulls off the St*r-Ship Pain! Tarver is out! It's now Seven on Five! Nexus regroup at ringside as we hear the fans chant 'What's Up' as R-Truth get them going. After some time John Morrison has to deal with Skip Sheffield and he finds this difficult against the big 280pounder. Sheffield grounds Morrison and then puts on a clinic. He winds Morrison down and then picks him up to suplex him back down again. Sheffield gets a Two-count and then slows down his offence even more. Morrison tries to get it going, but as he goes against the ropes Justin Gabriel lifts a lethal kick from the apron up high into the back of Morrison's head. A huge clothesline from Sheffield and Morrison is out. R-Truth comes in and he doesn't last long as Skip Sheffield nails him with a knock-out clothesline again. One, Two, Three. We're Five on Five. Chris Jericho comes in and does well initiall, but soon Wade Barrett is in against his former Pro. The match goes back and forth and eventually both men are down. Barrett crawls over as does Jericho and Bret Hart tags in as does Heath Slater. Bret comes in and goes full speed at Slater putting continuous punches to the head of Slater in the corner. He then takes Slater down with a scoop slam and then a classic Bret Hart elbow. Bret then goes to set up for a sharpshooter, but Skip Sheffield is tagged and meanwhile Wade Barrett introduces a steel chair into the ring. Bret Hart is ahead of the game though and he takes the chair to use it on Sheffield. Hart is then disqualified! Edge though comes in to hit the spear on Sheffield and get the pin fall. Edge and Justin Gabriel then put on a good show. Gabriel gets the tag to Heath Slater though as this match continues Four on Four. Wade Barrett tags in and he and The Nexus do a good job of keeping Edge on the back-foot. Barrett and Edge go at it for quite some time and Barrett then makes a tag to David Otunga. Otunga comes in as arrogant as usual and he takes Edge too lightly as Edge takes Otunga down with an Impaler-like DDT. Edge tags Jericho and he pumps up the crowd as he take it to Otunga and he then makes David Otunga tap out with a Walls Of Jericho! It's advantage Team WWE. Jericho then continues his onslaught, but as he goes at Heath Slater Jericho inadvertently goes into John Cena on the apron. Slater though takes advantage and rolls up Jericho. One, Two, Three! Jericho's out and Edge comes in. Cena comes in too and Edge argues with Cenation. Cena says that it wasn't his fault. Edge continues shoving Cena in the chest, but Cena backs off to the apron and Heath Slater rams into Edge again and rolls him up too. Edge is out! Now it's John Cena and Daniel Brian left and Edge and Chris Jericho do not take kindly to elimination. They balme John Cena and proceed to take it to Cena at ringside before they leave. Now it's Barrett, Gabriel and Slater left to pick apart John Cena. They target every part of his body as Daniel Brian is now the only one standing in Team WWE's corner. The commentary team argue over these circumstances. Cole says that Miz should've been in this match, not Daniel Brian. King says that it's not Daniel Brian's fault as to what's happened here. Cole and King argue it out as we see that John Cena is fingertips from making a tag, but still can't get it as Slater tags Barrett to come in and continue punishing John Cena. There's a collision though as Slater and Cena both go down after a double clothesline. Cena gets up and Slater gets hold of his foot, but John Cena leaps for the tag and makes it. Daniel Brian is in and he comes in like a house on fire taking it full speed to Heath Slater while throwing the odd forearm to Barrett and Gabriel in the corner. Brian hits a suicide dive on Slater on the outside. Then back in the ring he nails him with a missile dropkick and then finishes him off with the crossface. Brian is on top of the world, but not for long, down the ramp comes The Miz and he comes into the ring to nail Daniel Brian down with the MITB Briefcase. The referee sees nothing of it and he only turns to find that he must count to Three with Wade Barrett pinning Daniel Brian and we are now down to Barrett and Gabriel against John Cena. Gabriel goes at Cena, but Cena gets some momentum to hit his array of moves before going for the Attitude Adjustment. He can't hit it though as Barrett makes the blind tag and then Wade Barrett comes in to take John Cena down. Barrett spends a lot of time waerring Cena down before he then boots him in the head and Cena falls to ringside. Justin Gabriel then removes the protective matting at the bottom of the ramp and Nexus leader Barrett then drops Cena down with a devastating DDT on the exposed concrete. Barrett puts Cena back in the ring and doesn't go for the cover. He tags Gabriel who goes in to set up for the 450 splash, but Gabriel misses and Cena rushes to the cover - Three count - Gabriel's out! Cena versus Barrett and Barrett comes in full speed but Cena takes him down. STF! STF! and finally Wade Barrett taps, Wade Barrett taps out!

Winners: Team WWE!

After the match the Cenation celebrates and the commentary team close as the 23rd Annual SummerSlam comes to hard fought victory by John Cena and Team WWE!

WWE NXT Results - August 10, 2010
HP Pavilion in San Jose, California
Report by: Richard Gray of WrestlingNewsWorld.com

The show opens with a pre-tape from "earlier today" featuring Michael Cole and Josh Mathews with Matt Striker showing the new "power punch" Rookie challenge at the top of the ramp. Cole registers a punch at 728. Mathews registers a 886. Striker tells them, just like tonight someone is going to be eliminated and tells Cole "sorry". Cole had a ridiculous get-up on, wearing a headband, sunglasses and the new Miz shirt. He also had powder on his hands and threw it up in the air like LeBron James does before games.

Cue the "Wild & Young" theme and entrance of the Season 2 NXT Rookies. We're live from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.

Ashley Valence welcomes the Pros and remaining Rookies. Out first are Kofi Kingston and Michael McGillicutty. Zack Ryder comes out alone because Titus O'Neil was eliminated. WWE Women's Champions LayCool come out with Kaval. John Morrison is out solo as Eli Cottonwood was eliminated. MVP and Percy Watson. Lucky Cannon comes out alone followed by Cody Rhodes and Husky Harris. The Miz and Alex Riley are the last ones out.

Striker says Mark Henry couldn't be here tonight because of "injuries" suffered last night at the hands of The Nexus. Striker announces there will be a new Poll tonight including the vote from the fans. Striker says the Season 2 finale will be in three weeks and the winner earns a championship match live on pay-per-view. Tonight is a different story - one will be eliminated and they must do everything in their power to impress not only the Pros but the fans of the WWE Universe.

Rookie Challenge
- Power Punch

Time for the Rookie challenge, the "Power Punch". Whoever wins gets a solo appearance live on Raw. Striker calls Harris first. He hits and registers a 863.

Kaval is disqualified for kicking the machine.

Percy Watson smacks the bag and registers a 716.

Lucky Cannon registers a 744.

Husky Harris registers a 380. Harris wants a "redo" but Striker tells him no.

Alex Riley registers a punch over 880 and wins the challenge. Riley talks himself up, saying while his Pro may be a reality show TV star, he's a star in reality. Riley gets an individual appearance on Raw next week.

Cole and Mathews discuss what we just saw and ask the question, who will be eliminated?

- Commercial Break -

During the break, The Miz confronts John Morrison telling him they're one man short of going into the biggest fight of the summer. Miz said John Cena and Bret Hart begged him to join them and that Team WWE needs him. The Miz wants to hear Morrison tell him he wants him to join Team WWE. Morrison says, no I won't ask you. But if you're so sure, why don't we have a match tonight so I can show you why we don't need you? The Miz says, fine - have it your way.

6-Man Tag Team Match
- Kaval, Percy Watson & Lucky Cannon vs. Michael McGillicutty, Alex Riley & Husky Harris

The start:

Husky and Lucky start it off with Lucky getting a quick cover for a one count.

Mid-match notes:

Kaval tags himself in and works over Harris then tags in Percy Watson. Watson works over Husky Harris in the center of the ring, picks him up and drops him to the mat. Watson puts him in an arm lock on the mat. Harris gets back to his feet, sends Watson off the ropes and lands on him. Harris tags in Alex Riley. Riley works over Watson with an arm submission hold. Watson counters, whips him off the ropes, then kicks him over the top to the outside in an awkward sequence.

Riley, after gathering himself, gets back in the ring. Side headlock takeover by Riley on Watson. Riley alters the headlock and wrenches back on the mat. Watson gets to his feet and battles out. Hip tosses in a counter by Watson after Riley goes off the ropes, trying to counter.

Lucky Cannon tags in and goes back on the offensive, using a fireman's carry takedown into an arm bar on his opponent. We cut to a shot of the Pros on the stage as Riley fights back. Riley goes off the ropes but runs into a big boot by Lucky. Lucky gets a quick cover for a one count.

Riley goes to the outside and gets heat from the crowd. Riley and team regroup on the outside as Cannon connects on a suicide dive out of the ring onto Alex Riley.

- Commercial Break -

Back from the break, Riley turned things around and Husky Harris is in the ring with Cannon. Harris is in control of the match, delivering a double axe handle on his opponent before tagging Alex Riley back into the match. Riley hooks Harris' leg and gets a two count. Riley knocks Watson off the apron before tagging in McGillicutty. McGillicutty works over Lucky in the ring. He applies a sleeper in the middle of the mat.

Cannon uses the crowd to get back into the match. McGillicutty whips him into the corner but Lucky counters and hits a clothesline. Kaval wants the hot tag from Cannon. It's made! Kaval looks great with his martial arts kicks on McGillicutty. Kaval takes Riley off the apron wildly then applies a submission maneuver on McGillicutty. Harris makes the save. The match breaks down with everyone getting involved.

The finish:

It's back to McGillicutty and Kaval in the ring. Percy Watson is the only person left on the apron. Kaval to the top rope with McGillicutty down, he connects with the double foot stomp and gets the pinfall.

Winners - Kaval, Percy Watson & Lucky Cannon

Richard Reacts: Kaval was excellent but a lot of the work, especially early on from Husky Harris and Lucky Cannon, left a lot to be desired.

Matt Striker, on the stage with the Pros, says the Rookies certainly made their case. Striker says we'll find out whose eliminated in the upcoming poll. John Morrison vs. The Miz is announced for later tonight as we cut to break.

- Commercial Break -

We're shown a recap of the many attacks orchestrated by The Nexus followed by John Cena setting up Team WWE. The video package highlights the rocky road of Team WWE from internal dissension to The Nexus taking out members. The lengthy package finally concludes with the ending segment of last night's edition of Raw.

Back to Cole and Mathews, Cole says Team WWE finally showed stability. Mathews says The Great Khali is unlikely to compete at SummerSlam. They run down the SummerSlam lineup for this Sunday.

Non-title Pro vs. Pro Singles Match
- WWE United States Champion The Miz vs. John Morrison

The start:

The bell rings and the match is underway. The Miz and Morrison lockup as Miz applies a side headlock, off the ropes Miz connects with a shoulder block. They lockup again as Morrison connects a belly-to-back suplex. Miz backs Morrison into the corner and delivers an elbow to his face.

Mid-match notes:

Morrison counters and hits a dropkick, sending The Miz to the mat. Morrison connects on more offense to get the first cover of the match. The Miz counters and Morrison sells his arm. Miz bounces Morrison's head off the top turnbuckle cover. The Miz runs at Morrison in the corner but is hung out to dry when Morrison moves. Morrison backslides Miz down for a two count. The Miz retreats to the outside but Morrison follows with a corkscrew dive.

- Commercial Break -

Back in the ring, The Miz has Morrison in a sleeper. We're shown a recap of what happened before the commercial. Morrison battles out of the hold with right punches. The Miz fires back with a right hand of his own followed by a kick. The Miz works Morrison over in the ropes then lands on his shoulders. The Miz covers his former partner for a two count.

The Miz sizes Morrison up as he staggers in the corner. He runs at him and connects with a splash. Heat from the crowd on The Miz as he gets another two count on Morrison. Miz follows up his attack with elbows and stomps. He walks over Morrison's chest and gets a lot of heat from the crowd.

The Miz applies a sleeper hold on Morrison. The referee checks for submission. Morrison is on his knees and finally battles back with elbows to break the hold. Miz counters and whips him off the ropes. Morrison rolls through and gets a two count. Morrison punches The Miz then kicks him. The Miz eats a clothesline in a counter from Morrison. Spinebuster from Morrison. Morrison goes off the middle rope with a kick to the side of The Miz's head. Miz kicks out at two when Morrison covers him.

Morrison goes off the ropes but walks right into a boot from The Miz. Miz gets a two count. The Miz kicks Morison in his midsection and stomps him onto the apron. The referee breaks it up and The Miz tries to knock him off. Morrison counters with two kicks, sending The Miz to the mat.

The finish:

Morrison goes for Starship pain but misses and hurts his ankle. Morrison, favoring his ankle, is caught in the Skull Crushing Finale from The Miz followed by a three count for the victory.

Winner - The Miz

Richard Reacts: John Morrison flat out WORKED! Wow, that was a great TV bout and I give props to both, however, Morrison found another level and carried that bout.

- Commercial Break -

Matt Striker says the WWE Universe as well as the WWE Pros have basically decided which Rookies do not belong. Striker asks each Rookie who they think should be eliminated. Michael McGillicutty says Lucky Cannon should be eliminated. Kaval says Lucky should be eliminated because he hasn't made an impact. Percy Watson says it's hard to pick one so he can't really answer that question. When Striker tells him he must answer, he finally says Mr. Alex Riley because he talks too much. Lucky Cannon says anyone standing here but himself should be eliminated. Cannon says he wants it more than anyone. Husky Harris says Lucky Cannon should go home because he hasn't even won a match. Alex Riley tells Striker he should go home because he's tired of his stupid questions. He says McGillicutty should be eliminated and he's going to win the competition in three weeks.

The NXT Poll

1) Kaval
2) Michael McGillicutty
3) Percy Watson
4) Husky Harris
5) Alex Riley
6) Lucky Cannon

Striker has Riley and Cannon step forward for the results of who is fifth and sixth (which is dumb considering Riley won an appearance on Raw next week). Riley survives and Lucky Cannon is eliminated. Striker asks him for his thoughts on the #1 Rookie Kaval and wants his parting words to the WWE Universe. Cannon says his thoughts on Kaval are it is what it is. He says as for his parting words, he's not going to flip out like everyone thinks he is. Cannon asks if everyone has been enjoying NXT as much as he has. Cannon runs down every NXT Rookie on the show with insults. He thanks everyone before handing the mic back to Striker. He attempts handshakes to the other Rookies and gets one from everyone except Husky Harris.

Striker asks Riley if there is something about his style or attitude that is disconnecting with the WWE Universe. He asks him if so, what is he going to do before it's too late? Riley says he will not change anything for anyone and he's still trying to figure out how he went from #3 to fifth after kissing Margarita and he felt like he gave that one h--- of an effort. He puts over his appearance on Raw on Monday.

Striker says don't get too comfortable because next week on NXT there will be a double elimination. Striker says they'll be one step closer when WWE NXT continues next week. Worldwide voting opens tomorrow at Noon Eastern on the official WWE website.

LayCool hold a "property of" shirt over Kaval as we cut to shots of Cannon being eliminated before the show goes off the air.

WWE RAW Results (8/9)

We are Live with WWE RAW Live in Sacramento, California and we begin the evening with a reminder that tonight's main event is John Cena and Bret Hart versus Chris Jericho and Edge with the added stipulation that Nexus are going to be the Lumberjacks.

Music hits and it's the one and only Bret 'The Hitman' Hart making his way to the ring. Bret's in his jean-shorts, his classic leather jacket with an emblem on the back and he's wearing an old school Batman t-shirt (cool). Bret talks to the audience and tells that he's been busting his butt in preperation for SummerSlam. However, after admitting that he vouched for Jericho and Edge to be part of the WWE SummerSlam team, Bret says that he's inviting his opponents tonight to come to the ring and see if he can get this machine put back together. Jericho makes his entrance in his suit. He and Bret have a back and forth with words and Bret says that this is Jericho's chance to be a man. Bret says that if Jericho doesn't join team WWE then he's not letting anybody down other than himself. He continues and says that not even Nexus accept Jericho or Edge so by turning their backs on WWE, they might as well be men without countries. Outcasts. Bret then challenges Jericho to do right and rejoin team WWE. Jericho responds and says that his answer, even though he can't speak for Edge, is still No. Jericho then states that Bret is past it. He says that WWE need him and need Edge, without them they're nothing. Jericho says that he's not interested in teaming with John Cena and he's even less interested in teaming with Bret Hart. Jericho says he can't wait to get to dismantling Bret later tonight - and with that we hear the music of the Rated 'R' SuperStar Edge. Edge gets a nervy reception from the crowd and when in the ring Edge tells Jericho off and says that he's a fan of Bret Hart. He grew up idolising him with a poster of The Hitman on his wall. Edge tells that he doesn't know about Jericho, he's happy to join Bret Hart. The fans cheer and Jericho makes to leave as Edge shakes Bret Hart's hand. With that though Edge tries to kick Hart but Bret catches his leg and then trips Edge to go for a Sharpshooter! Jericho comes in and helps Edge escape after putting a thumb to the eye of Bret Hart. Edge and Jericho make to leave up the ramp and with that we see Natalya Neidhart run down to the ring. She looks distressed and talks to Bret. On the titantron we then see that Tyson Kidd and DH Smith are getting attacked backstage. It's Nexus doing a number on them again! After the beat-down leader Wade Barrett says that it seems Team WWE can count out The Hart Dynasty as their replacements for SummerSlam. Bret and Natalya then rush to the back as we go to commercials.

When we come back we see Bret and Natalya with medics in the locker room and they're tending to The Hart Dynasty. Bret Hart then picks up a chair and tells Natalya that he's going to take matters into his own hands. John Cena comes in though and takes the chair from Bret Hart. Cena says that this is exactly what Nexus want, to suck Bret in so that they can attack him again. Cena says to focus on the team and that Bret should see to his family. His next move is to go talk to The Great Khali.

The Miz vs. Evan Bourne

The fans in the ARCO Arena are very much in the favour of Evan Bourne in this match, but it's Miz that spends the early stages on top, but Bourne manages to up the pace and almost get a rolled up pin-fall on the Money In The Bank winner after as hurracanrana into a cover. The match doesn't last long though as the United States Champion Miz ends the contest with a Skull-Crushing Finale!

Winner: The Miz.

After the match Miz gets on the mic and says that he will be WWE Champion sooner or later as MITB statistics prove that every briefcase holder has gone on to win the Title. Miz finishes by telling us "I'm The Miz and I'm Awesome!"

As the commentary team change track we see a shot backstage in the distance and it's John Cena talking to The Great Khali. We have no clue as to what they're saying as we're then reminded of tonight's Tag Team Lumberjack main event.

The Red Carpet is laid out down the ramp as Melina makes her famous splits entrance for her first match back since injury.

Melina vs. Alicia Fox

The commentary team remind everyone that Melina never lost the Diva's Championship and she had to vacate it because of her injury to which she then faced a now eight month lay-off. Alicia Fox begins the early stages of the match on top, but it's Melina's fieryness that gets her going and she's the one that gets an early near fall on Fox. Fox goes at Melina to try and regain momentum, but Mel performs the Matrix evation backward arch to avoid any contact with Alicia's clothesline. The two Diva's then fight it out at ringside where Alicia is then on top. Back in the ring Fox does well to ground Melina, but she does so by spending a lot of the focus on pulling the hair of Melina. Alicia slows the pace all the way down with a submission move that has Melina bent upside down and almost inside out over her shoulder, but Melina manages to get out of it and turn it into The Last Call Sunset Bomb and pick up the One, Two, Three!

Winner: Melina!

Melina celebrates a clean victory over the Diva's Champion and we go backstage to Josh Matthews who then interviews The Great Khali and asks where his allegiences lie. Khali answers "WWE." Khali then says something in his native language and Josh Matthews says that Khali's interpreter isn't there tonight. Could Khali elaborate in English? "Khali, Wade Barrett - tonight!"

When we come back we see that during the break we had some breaking news from the General Manager. Michael Cole announced, from the GM, that at SummerSlam it will be Melina challenging Alicia Fox for the WWE Diva's Title! Also that match suggested by Khali is going to happen. Khali versus Barrett tonight!

Also tonight will be a Diva's Summer-Time Spectacular Tag Team contest featuring The Bellas vs. Gail Kim & Eve Torres vs. Maryse & Jillian Hall.

Next we see Chris Jericho and Edge in a conversation and Jericho wonders if maybe Bret Hart could've been right with what he says. "What if we become outcasts?" he says. Edge though argues that he and Jericho survived everything over the past decade years. Stone Cold, The Rock (to name a couple) have come and gone and Edge and Jericho have survived them all and outlasted them too. Jericho concurs and suggests that he and Edge take out Cena and Bret tonight, because without them there will be no Team WWE at SummerSlam.

Next we see R-Truth and John Morrison convince each other that they're on the same page. They then say that Team WWE need two more guys as part of their match at SummerSlam. Mark Henry comes in and says that he can be "both men" and tells Truth and Morrison to consider his upcoming match as his audition. With that though we see Wade Barrett and co in the Nexus' locker room. Barrett signals to his comrades and they exit looking like they have an agenda.

Ted DiBiase and Maryse make an entrance as the hottest couple in WWE. Mark Henry comes out and it is supposed to be DiBiase vs. Henry, but Nexus are near and around the ring already. They come out of nowhere and pummel Mark Henry from behind and then physically assault Henry to eventually launch him as a group head-first into the side of the steel stairs.

Backstage we see Sheamus, the WWE Champion walk the halls. The commentary team tell that he's on his way to the ring to call out his opponent for Sunday; Randy Orton.

As Sheamus makes his entrance we see a crew of referee's assist Mark Henry to the back. The commentary team reiterate that Sheamus has some kind of truce with Nexus. In the ring Sheamus gets on the mic and tells of how he's not afraid of Randy Orton. He says that he hurts people and he's been doing it since he entered the "Doubya Doubya E." Sheamus then directs us to the titantron and we see a video montage showing what Sheamus has accomplished in his short time within the WWE so far. Upon the end of the video Sheamus says that he ended the career of Triple H and at SummerSlam he's going to do the same to Randy Orton. Back in the ring Sheamus says that he wants to call out Randny Orton right now so that he can tell him face to face what he's going to do to him this "Sonday." Orton quickly makes his entrance and he gets in the ring to get on a mic himself. He says that he reckons Sheamus is "full of it." He tells that Sheamus had the opportunity to put his money where his mouth is last week and he blew it and at SummerSlam he's going to blow it then too. Orton then reminds Sheamus that he's never beaten him. Sheamus responds by saying that he's beaten both Triple H and John Cena. Orton says that he's neither of those men, but Sheamus responds that he's now WWE Champion either. The two talk back and forth playing a one-upsmanship game until there's a face-off where Orton challenges Sheamus to make a move. *BLEEP* *BLEEP* Michael Cole goes to the podium and says that if anyone interfere's with the Title match this Sunday then they will be suspended indefinately alluding to the fact that Sheamus has won big matches before due to outside interference. Further-more if Orton doesn't win this Sunday then there will be no rematch. Randy Orton will have to go to the back of the line if he doesn't get the job done. Finally, the GM (via Cole) says that if Sheamus is not afraid of Orton then he encourages him to do as Orton says and prove it right here, right now. Cole sits down and Randy Orton looks ready, but Sheamus doesn't do anything. He backs off and goes to exit, but then The Viper goes at him from behind. The two of them then exchange and Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick on Orton after taking him down. Orton though avoids contact and he then takes Sheamus down with his patented back-breaker. Orton then stalks the WWE Champion and prepares himself for the kick to the skull! Orton runs at Sheamus as the crowd are on their feet, but just as he's about to connect Randy Orton stops in his tracks! Sheamus scampers into the corner and he does look afraid. Orton's made his point, he's made his statement as he then leaves and his music hits. Randy Orton is ready for Sunday as he symbolicly shows Sheamus his own Championship Belt before exiting up the ramp with a confident smile on his face.

When we come back from commercials we see that Sheamus is still at ringside and he's pacing back and forth in front of the commentary table. In the ring six NXT rookies are ready for 6-Man Tag Team action.

Kaval. Percy Watson. Lucky Cannon vs. Michael McGillicutty. Alex Riley. Husky Harris.

Almost everybody in this match shows excellent ring-work as Cole and King tell of all these rookies' credentials. In the end it's Husky Harris who finishes off Kaval with a senton after coming off the ropes to gain his team the victory.

Winners: Michael McGillicutty. Alex Riley. Husky Harris.

After the match Sheamus attacks all the rookies and Kaval gets the brunt of it again as Sheamus gets in the ring and then puts the High Cross on the rookie of Pro's LayCool. Sheamus then gets on the mic and tells that he's going to prove to the General Manager and to everyone that this time next week he'll still be WWE Champion!

Next we see R-Truth and John Morrison walking along backstage and they're due out next.

William Regal & Zack Ryder vs. R-Truth & John Morrison

Regal does well against R-Truth early on and Zack Ryder is tagged in to maintain the pressure. Truth is down and he takes a lot of punishment until Truthe makes the tag and John Morrison comes in to deck Ryder with an impressive move and then finishing Ryder off with the St*r-Ship Pain!

Winners: R-Truth & John Morrison!

Truth and Morrison are evidently on the same page after making simple work of Regal and Ryder. They celebrate as the commentary team run down the card for this Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view. After that we see that The Bellas are on their way as up next is the Diva's Summer-Time Spectacular!

When we return we see that Maryse and Jillian have already made their entrances and the ring itself is kitted out with all things summer including water slides! We also see Santino and Kozlov randomly in the ring and it turns out that they're the special guest referees.

Maryse & Jillian Hall vs. Gail Kim & Eve Torres vs. The Bellas

Maryse and Eve start off and Maryse does well to take Eve down. Eve though tags one of The Bellas & she comes in to take it to Maryse. Maryse though ends up tagging Jillian who comes in to put the pressure who we think is Brie Bella. Nikki then gets a tag and so too does Eve. Eve and Nikki go at it before Maryse comes in only to get decked with a Happy Ending by Gail Kim. Upon the ending though it's The Bellas that put on the show with Nikki ending with a cross body finisher on Jillian and Santino counts Three.

Winners: The Bellas!

After the match we see Tamina come out of nowhere into the ring with a swimsuit on of her own and she stalks Santino. Santino goes to exit, but before Tamina allows him to leave she smiles and pats him on the butt. The commentary team suggest that Tamina is smitten with Santino.

Backstage we see The Great Khali and he's about to make his entrance to face Wade Barrett - but wait a minute it's Nexus again! They swarm like bees around Khali and they take him down! Khali looks out of it!

When we come back Nexus make an entrance and they're led out proudly by Wade Barrett. The Nexus seven get in the ring and line up. Barrett tells that the Khali vs. Barrett match has just been cancelled. He goes on to tell that Nexus will defeat Team WWE this Sunday. Barrett passes the mic to Skip Sheffield who says that the Nexus plan to take out Team WWE just like they took out Vince McMahon and Ricky Steamboat. David Otunga then says that whoever tries to be a part of Team WWE should think about what Nexus have done tonight to people like The Hart Dynasty, Mark Henry and The Great Khali. He finishes by saying "You're either Nexus or against us." With that we turn our attentions backstage where Bret Hart and John Cena are walking along and they're approached by The Miz. Miz says that he wants to hear the two of them say it, he wants to hear Bret Hart and John Cena ask for Miz's help. Bret and Cena then simply ask whether Miz is in or out. Miz takes great pride in "being asked" and then says that he'll give them his answer this Sunday. Bret tells Cena that he can't believe they're going to use Miz. Cena though says that it's a shame that they may actually may need him. Back in the ring Nexus are ready as Lumberjacks as the Tag Team Lumberjack main event is up next.

On screen the announcement is made that WWE RAW has a guest host next week and it's set to be actor Justin Long.

Edge & Chris Jericho vs. Bret Hart & John Cena

Edge looked cautious during his entrance as he eyeballed Nexus. Jericho looked arrogant, but also kept one eye on Nexus at ringside. When Bret and Cena enter they recieve great applause from the fans as this match gets under way with Nexus notably stood in line along one side of the ring instead of being around it. The bell rings and Edge goes storming at John Cena, but it's not long before Cena takes Edge down with one of his bulldogs. Cena then keeps Edge down with a side headlock, but this doesn't last long as Edge decks Cena to ringside and Nexus do a number on John Cena. They attack him and pound him down like a pack of dogs. In the ring Jericho tags in and when Nexus throw Cena back in, Jericho then twice throws Cena to ringside for a further beat-down from Nexus. Cena is eventually back in the ring and he manages to throw Jericho to ringside, but Jericho walks free. Nexus surround him, but do not attack. Jericho freely gets back into the ring, but Cena goes for an Attitude Adjustment. Jericho though does well to roll away from it and attempt a Walls Of Jericho on Cena, but Cena reverses it. After an exchange Cena misses a shoulder block to inadvertently end up at ringside, but Cena picks his spot and lays out Wade Barrett with a clothesline. Cena gets back into the ring, but then as Barrett gets up to climb the apron Jericho misses Cena with a forearm and accidently clobbers Barrett. Cena then clotheslines Jericho over the top rope and Chris Jericho ends up surrounded by Nexus again. Jericho then bad-mouth Barrett and he finally does get beaten down! Nexus pummel Jericho and in the ring we see that Bret Hart has sucked in Justin Gabriel and he takes Gabriel down. Edge helps Jericho escape and then we see Barrett save Gabriel. They regroup and Edge and Jericho get out of there. Bret Hart and John Cena are in the ring and Nexus climb the apron for it to be seven on two. R-Truth and John Morrison run down the ramp and it's a seven on four face-off. Nexus get into the ring and as they do we see Edge and Jericho half way up the ramp. They stop and look toward the ring. They wait as the fans encourage them and then finally they sprint back down toward the ring to stand tall and stand strong as part of Team WWE! The ARCO Arena is literally rumbling as these guys face off and there's then an all out brawl to which Nexus end up retreating to as they exit the ring, escape over the barricade and high tail it up the stairs and into the audience as far as they can away from the ring. Team WWE, six of them stand tall as Cena's music hits and there's a lot of eye-balling as we fade out of this week's Monday Night RAW.

Sabu!

EV2.0's Dreamer run pay-per-view begins with the FBI; Big Graciano, Tracy Smothers, Tony Luke and Guido Maritanto against Kid Kash, Swinger and Simon Diamond. It's a 3 on 3 tag match up with Big Graciano at ringside.

Guido begins affairs against Kid Kash and the fans are very much on Guido's side as these two cruiserweights exchange an early outing with both competitors getting near falls. Tony Luke comes in and so to does Swinger. Luke does well to put a short arm scissors on Swinger, but Swinger overpowers him and then drives him down with authority to break the hold. Tracy Smothers gets the tag and so too does Simon Diamond. Smothers comes in and does well to take Diamond down. After an exchange we see Siamond Diamond step to ringside to get a microphone. He tells taunts the crowd and then insults his own tag partner Kid Kash. Diamond then challenges the FBI to an extreme dance-off. After some interesting and entertaining dancing we get back to business as we evetually have Tony Luke go face to face with Kid Kash. Luke does well to keep Kash from his corner and then Guido is tagged in and he comes in to get a near fall on Kash as Swinger comes in to break the count. After a TNA-like tower in the corner we have Simon Diamond come in and perform the Simon Series. Kash is then in and he performs his signature, but it's the FBI that pick up the victory in this one.

Winner's: The FBI.

We join Taz and Mike Tenay at commentary and Tenay says that he is there as a fan of the extreme game tonight. He also says that he would have gladly stepped aside for Joey Styles to come in and commentate on tonight's show, but Styles is currently contratually unavailable. We get an update on tonight's main event as we hear that Jerry Lynn is injured so instead we'll get to see TNA Champion Rob Van Dam go one on one with the Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac Sabu!

Next we see a two video packages. One tells of where some of the old ECW wrestler's are today (including the Blue Meanie) and the next video shows AJ Styles and others in shoot-style interviews telling of their experiences of watching the old ECW.

We then have Al Snow backstage and he's joined by Head (the manekin doll head) and he's talking to Head the same way he used to. Stevie Richards joins him and then he and a few others converse.

CW Anderson vs. Too Cold Scorpio

Anderson and Scorpio put on an excellent match-up with Too Cold Scorpio doing well to fly high after taking Anderson to the outside early on. Back in the ring Anderson puts a super kick on Scorpio to take him down for a near fall. The commentary team tell of what Too Cold's been up to and tell that he spent a few years in Germany before coming back to America and working for Leon White's promotion (Vader). In the ring Scorpio takes Anderson down with a quick back heel move and then Anderson flips him to get a two count and after an exchange Anderson is again on top as he nails Scorpio with a short arm shiver. Scorpio though gets on top again and decks Anderson to then go to the middle rope to perform the front flipping leg drop and he nails him. One, Two - only a Two-count. Scorpio then goes top rope and attempts a moonsault but misses as Anderson rolls out of the way. Anderson then gets up to nail a Double A Spinebuster! One, Two - another near fall! "What a match" says Taz as we then have Scorpio get on top again and then finish off Anderson with an amazing front-flipping splash on Anderson! One! Two! Three!

Winner: Too Cold Scorpio!

After the match we see numerous replays of the action and Taz says that Scorpio's better now than what he used to be.

In a TNA-based video package we hear from Madison Rayne, Matt Morgan and Ken Anderson and they tell of what they remember from the old ECW.

Next we see RVD in his locker room talking to old Bill Alfonzo. Van Dam tells that he was disaponted to hear that Jerry Lynn was unable to compete tonight. He goes on to tell that Dreamer left it up to him as to who he was gonna wrestle tonight. Van Dam then says that he had to pick someone that was gonna give the fans what they expect and more tonight. He had to pick Sabu. Alfonzo tells that he once managed RVD and Sabu, but tonight he's gonna call the match right down the middle. (Manage the match right down the middle).

PJ Polaco (Justin Credible) vs. Stevie Richards w/ The Blue Tilly & Nova

Tenay and Taz tell of the impact Polaco once had on the old organisation. Taz then says that many felt that the company did better when Steveie Richards left ECW. Polaco and Richards fight well and Polaco's the more intense wrestler. They battle out to ringside where Stevie gets back into it, but again back in the ring Polaco's again on top and he gets Stevie down for a near fall. Polaco gets Stevie in the corner and pummels him before Irish whipping him to the far corner. Polaco storms at him but Stevie ducks to avoid contact and then ends up elavating Polaco over the top rope to ringside. Stevie then spends a spell on top and Richards hits a sit-down powerbomb on Polaco and he gets a Two-count. Polaco comes back and then hits a spinning tombstone. He goes for a cover, but the Blue Tilly & Nova distract him and then Stevie gets up to nail him with a super kick and now this one's over.

Winner: Stevie Richards.

Richards celebrates but the festivities are cut short as PJ Polaco gets a singapore cane to whack at Stevie. After a moment though the lights go out in the arena and the fans are on their feet as we see The SandMan! SandMan decks Polaco with his own infamous singapore cane and poses for the fans as we then fade to another video package labelled 'Where are they now.' We see Francine and she says that she Loves the fans and tells that her new career is to be a full time Mom.

The commentary team tell of how lucky they have been to catch with with old cats like Francine and that none of it would've happened without TNA providing this opportunity here tonight. We then fade to a message on screen where Tenay and Taz tell of how everyone within TNA are sending out their thoughts and prayers to all the wrestler's and families who couldn't be there tonight.

Brother Runt vs. Al Snow w/ Head vs. Rhino

This match is frantic and it's not long before all three competitor's are at ringside and then up the ramp. Back in the ring we have Rhino down and Al Snow goes up to drop a leg drop on his opponent, but Rhino moves. Rhino then goes for a belly to belly, but Snow blocks it and then decks Rhino again. Al Snow then goes top turnbuckle to perform and excellent moonsault on Rhino to get a Two count. Brother Runt comes back into the ring after being decked on the ramp earlier, but he doesn't last long in the ring as both Rhino and Snow end up throwing Runt to the outside and hard into the steel guard rail. Snow decks Rhino with Head and then Runt comes in to floor Al Snow. Runt has a steel chair then after an exchange Brother Runt ends up pinning Al Snow after the Dudley Dog. Snow's eliminated, but Rhino though almost instantly Gore's Runt and then he gets the One, Two Three to achieve the overall victory.

Winner: Rhino!

Next we hear from Mick Foley and he tells of his relationship with Tommy Dreamer. Foley says that Dreamer's match with Raven is going to be a contest that could get out of hand and tells that he is the perfect referee for a match with this much history behind it.

After another TNA 'memories of ECW' video pack, we're back in the ring to have Axel Rotten and Cohonies tell that they are the most extreme tag team in wrestling history. They lay out an open challenge and their competitors turn out to be the Dudley Boyz! The Dudleyz are led out by their manager Joel Gertner who tells of some 'Hardcore lymerics' involved with Lady Gaga. The fans like what they hear and then the Dudleyz are formerly introduced by Gertner as Brother Ray and Brother Devon - Team 3D! Bubba gets on the mic and tells Rotten and Cohonies to get back in the ring. Bubba suggests that they give the fans what they want. 'Old School South Philadelphia Street Fight'.

Axel Rotten & Cohonies vs. Team 3D

Falls count anywhere in the Extreme Zone as we go split screen to see Devon and Rotten fight at ringside and Brother Ray and 'Balls' go at it in the ring. Taz and Tenay enjoy the action as they chuckle at how funny it is to say Balls Cohonies (lol). Again there's a split screen showing us the action as Devon and Rotten are at the bottom of the crowd and Bubba and Cohonies go toward the top of the audience. Brother Ray uses Al Snow's manekin head to nail Cohonies right on the head a few times. Most of this contest is shown on a spilt screen as it is increasingly difficult to keep up with the action. After some time though we do have Balls and Bubba Ray back in the ring and Cohonies takes Brother Ray down with the lid of a trash can. Bubba gets up to then nail Cohonies with a frying pan. Axel Rotten then comes in to get on top and he takes down Bubba and then decks Devon after a series of rights and then another trash can lid to the head. Next we have Balls bring in a green light-sabre! He taunts and Brother Ray gets a red light-sabre and they duel as the crowd chant 'use the force! use the force!' and Brother Ray ends with a a low blow right to the cohonies of Cohonies with the light-sabre. After a further exchange all four competitors grab steel chairs and duel it out. Rotten and Cohonies deck Team 3D. There's another exchange where the Dudleyz then deck their opponents with chairs. They bring out a Table and lather it up with lighter fluid and then ignite it for Bubba to powerbomb Cohonies through a flaming Table.

Winners: Team 3D!

After the match Bubba gets on the mic to say that Team 3D are the greatest Tag Team in the World. However music hits and we see The Gangstas! New Jack and his partner Mustafa bring weapons to the ring - even the kitchen sink! They get into the ring and take down Team 3D. They attack'm with crutches, hockey sticks and trash cans. Taz tells that these guys were multiple time Tag Champions back in the day. Finally Gertner gets a guitar shot to the head and after a face off, The Gangstas, Team 3D and Axel/Cohonies all embrace as the fans applaud such extreme action.

We see Raven in a video pack and he tells of his reasons to rival with Tommy Dreamer. He finishes by saying that he'll beat Dreamer tonight. "Quote the Raven, Never More."

Another TNA based video brings us views of Jesse Neal and Kazarian. Kaz says that he learned his trade by watching one of the fun promotions to watch with athletes such as Rob Van Dam and Jerry Lynn.

Next we have a video tribute to Joey Styles. Bubba Ray and RVD say that they miss him and that he was a big part of making them who they are as character's in the wrestling world.

Raven vs. Tommy Dreamer

Mick Foley Special Guest Referee

In the early stages both men exchange at ringside as the commentary team tell that Dreamer and Raven have met many many times in the past and usually it was Raven who came out on top. Dreamer does well on Raven in this one though, but it doesn't last long because once they're back in the ring Raven sets up a chair to perform his famous drop-toe-hold and Tommy Dreamer is busted open. A horrific gash to Dreamer has blood quickly pouring from his face. Raven spends a spell on top, but Dreamer then performs Raven's own drop-toe-hold on him and Raven gets slammed head first into the chair. Dreamer then goes to ringside to get a sign from a fan and he brings it in to smash it over Raven's head. He pulls paper away from the sign to reveal that it's a big yellow road sign saying 'Dead End.' Raven's busted open and then Dreamer goes to ringside to get himself a ladder from underneath the ring. The match goes in Dreamer's favour for a while. He sets up Raven in the corner along with the ladder, but whatever he's attempting it backfires as Raven trips Dreamer to land on his "yam bag" on a rung of the ladder. Raven then gets a Two count on an attempted pin cover and the match continues. Dreamer gets on top later on with a Dreamer Driver and after drop kicking the 'Dead End' sign into Raven in the corner, Dreamer gets a roll of barbed wire and he wraps the barb wire around the head of Raven to put a barbed wired crippler crossface on Raven! Raven is about to tap out, but then we see the Blue Tilly and Nova come down to the ring to attack the referee Mick Foley and then Dreamer. They don't last long in their assault as Foley gets Mr Socko out and fends the Blue guys out of the ring. One of Raven's lackies later comes in and after hitting a leg drop on Dreamer Foley gets rid of him by putting the barbed wire around Socko and then into his opponents mouth. Raven puts handcuffs on Dreamer and we're back to the original match as Raven gets a chair and he's about to swing until Dreamer's wife comes down the ramp. She gets in the ring to plead with Raven not to hit Dreamer with the chair, but the pleas come to no avail as Raven decimates Dreamer with the chair. Raven then threatens Dreamer's wife, but Foley stops him. Dreamer then somehow manages to drop Raven to get a Two count but again Raven kicks out and finally Raven gets on top again to hit the Raven Effect on his old friend/nemesis right on top of the 'Dead End' street sign.

Winner: Raven!

Raven celebrates as we cut to replays. We then see Dreamer up and leaving with his wife. Next we have an advertisment promoting this week's upcoming Impact and then we have JB backstage talking to SoCal Val. They are in good spirits until The Gangstas come along. Things get awkard and we then cut to a Paul Heyman promo with old ECW stars telling of Heyman's effect on the industy and on the old company back then.

Rob Van Dam w/ Bill Alfonzo vs. Sabu w/ Bill Alfonzo

The commentary team chuckle as Alfonzo manages both main event superstars here tonight. Taz tells that it's kind of weird to have Sabu with no hair on his head as he used to use his hair as a weapon back in the day. Sabu starts on the attack early with his patented leg-dives. The commentary team tell of Sabu's uncle being the original Sheik. They also tell of how Van Dam has almost always looked up to Sabu. The match goes on as both superstars trade taunts and cheers from the audience. With taunts and poses and variations of exchanges both competitors have full backing of the fans. At ringside we see Bill Alfonzo and he slides a chair directly into the centre of the ring. Both wrestler's go for it but Sabu comes out on top. He throws the chair at Van Dam and then decks Van Dam into the corner to run at ring and perform a series of steel chair assisted moves. Eventually Van Dam drops to ringside. As he tries to get back in Sabu runs at him with a hard baseball slide and RVD goes hard into and over the guard rail. Sabu sets up the chair and runs to leap from the chair adn then off the top rope right over the rail and into Van Dam in the crowd. The match continues and it's an instant classic as both guys are back in the ring and Van Dam nails Sabu with a Monkey Flip which lands Sabu hard on the steel chair. Sabu and Van Dam exchange and both men then go for a springboard and colide with one another as they both had the same idea. Alfonzo gets in the ring and hands each of them a water bottle as he's managing this one "right down the middle." Both Sabu and RVD exit from opposite sides of the ring and go to pull out tables from underneath the ring. They slides the tables in and then run at each other at ringside as the two of them duel it out. Van Dam soon gets on top and he has Sabu set up on the guard rail and Van Dam climbs the ring apron to perform a corkscrew leg-drop right on the back of Sabu. The match continues and Bill Alfonzo helps Van Dam by tossing him a chair and Van Dam does a stunning move on Sabu by the bottom rope. Alfonzo then aids Sabu after an exchange and Sabu performs a hurracanrana on RVD from the top turnbuckle and Van Dam lands hard on the steel chair. Sabu then puts on an Arabian Facebuster on RVD and then follows with a Camel Clutch. Amazing match, truly breath-taking as we see Sabu land on his yam bag on the top rope after a Van Dam reversal. Alfonzo comes in and holds a chair up to Sabu's head and he directs RVD to the top rope and Van Dam puts a Van Assassinator on Sabu! Sabu drops to ringside and after an exchange RVD performs a rolling thunder - on a chair, on Sabu. Then we see Van Dam get nailed with atwisting DDT by Sabu head first goes Van Dam right onto a steel chair. Sabu goes to the top rope and nails RVD with an assist with a chair to the head. The table is set up and Sabu puts Van Dam on it, but misses as he comes flying off the top rope. Van Dam then gets up to leap to the top rope and then RVD flies to nail Sabu with the Five St*r Frog Splash! Head locked and both legs hooked by RVD and he gets the One, Two, Three.

Winner: Rob Van Dam!

Sabu has not missed a beat to quote Taz as this match was an excellent way to finish any pay-per-view. Van Dam celebrates and then goes to shake Sabu's hand. Sabu says no and then hugs Van Dam to then raise his opponent's hand. We see numerous replays of this awesome match as the commentary team remind us that RVD has a Stairway To Janice Title defence set for the Whole F'n Show this Thursday night on Impact. The fans close by chanting 'ECW' as the locker room empties and we see the ring filled with EV2.0 wrestler's and they all chair beverages as the fans then chant 'Thank You!' to their old school heroes. Dixie Carter gets a can of beer at ringside as the fans chant 'F*ck You Vince'. Tommy Dreamer gets on the mic and says thank you to Dixie Carter. We then see Bubba Ray cradle Dixie out of the audience and bring her inside the ring to celebrate. Dreamer toasts her and tells that he expects everyone in TNA to perform better than they did tonight. The fans cheer as Dreamer finishes by saying thank you again and admitting that that was one hell of an F'n Pay-Per-View.

* Tommy Dreamer calls out Raven to explain his actions last week. Dreamer asks why he attacked him last week and said that his kids call him "Uncle Scotty" and now he has to explain to them what happened. Robert Roode cuts a promo saying that The Guns have proven they are great and even though it's their type of match, Beer Money are taking the titles tonight. The Guns respond that the only way they are taking the belts is from their cold, dead hands. There are lots of great spots to open the match and some nice back and forth wrestling. Beer Money gets the upper hand but can't get the X because Roode is afraid of heights and Storm appears to have had a little too much to drink. Another great match between the two teams, with the end being Alex Shelley sliding acrossd the ropes while Roode walked across like a tight rope. They fought near the X and Roode got crotched and bumped into the ring while Shelley grabbed the X. They are tied 2-2.

* Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Miss Tessmacher come to the ring. He announced RVD vs. Abyss match on the big Impact will be a "Stairway to Janice" match as a takeoff on the old ECW Stairway to Hell bout. Bischoff will be the referee. He announces the final Beer Money vs. Motor City Machineguns bout, Mr. Anderson vs. Pope Dinero, Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy having an open challenge that night as well. Kevin Nash comes out and says he's finally got some face time with Hulk and Eric. Hogan tells Nash it's time to step out of the spotlight and let the younger talents take over. Nash says he doesn't like that and lays out Bischoff. Hogan and Nash go face to face and Nash takes him out. Nash grtabs a chair but Jeff Jarrett hits the ring. He gets the chair and is about to use it but suddenly Sting shows up, in red facepaint and lays out Jarrett with a bat. Nash and Sting leave everyone laying.

* Orlando Jordan vs. Pope Dinero. Jordan and Pope face off. Jordan gets Pope in the corner and starts grinding on him, which Pope doesn;t like. Eric Young runs out and starts collecting all the money that fell during Pope's speech. That distracts Jordan, who Pope surprises with a pin. Flair finally gets the pin on Lethal after Williams pushes Jay's leg off the ropes.

* TNA champion Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer defeated Raven and Abyss in a pretty good tag match. Van Dam nailed the five star frog splash on Raven. Abyss attacked them after the match but the ECW crew hit the ring. Abyss got the upper hand but the lights went out and when they returned, The Sandman was in the ring with the Singapore Cane and cleaned house. That should be where the show ends.

After they went off the air, they played "Enter Sandman" and all the ECW guys and Hulk Hogan had a beer bash in the ring.
