WWE NXT Results (3/9)The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Matt Hardy

The 3rd edition of WWE NXT came to you, live, from the Key Arena in Seattle, WA. Since the show’s inaugural episode two weeks ago, there has been much distain and conflicts between the NXT Rookies & their WWE Pros. While Pro/Rookie pairings like Christian & Heath Slater and Matt Hardy & Justin Gabriel seem to be on the same page, there is no question that the pairings of The Miz & Daniel Bryan and R-Truth & David Otunga are tumultuous at best with the Pros and their Rookies frequently getting in each other’s faces and even getting into backstage brawls like R-Truth & David Otunga did on last week’s NXT. Whether the teams get along or not, the two most volatile Pro & Rookie pairings would square off in tag team action as United States & Unified WWE Tag Team Champion The Miz would team with his NXT Rookie, Daniel Bryan, to take on R-Truth and his NXT Rookie, David Otunga.

Match Results

    * R-Truth & David Otunga def. The Miz & Daniel Bryan by David Otunga pinning The Miz following a heel kick by R-Truth.

Before the match began, The Miz told Daniel Bryan that, if Bryan was pinned or made to submit, then he would ensure that Bryan would be kicked off of NXT. During the match, Bryan had David Otunga locked in a heel hook, but The Miz tagged himself in, which led to a confrontation between Miz & Bryan. R-Truth then took advantage by hitting a heel kick on The Miz which led to Otunga pinning The Miz for the win for himself and R-Truth.

    * Heath Slater (with Christian) def. Carlito (with Michael Tarver) by counter roll-up.
    * Justin Gabriel def. Wade Barrett by pin following the 450 Splash.

Detailed Results

The show kicks off with the opening match of the night as the two most dysfunctional Pro/Rookie teams squared off in tag team action as United States & Unified WWE Tag Team Champion The Miz would team with his NXT Rookie, Washington’s own Daniel Bryan as they would face R-Truth & David Otunga! Before their match, The Miz tells his Rookie, Daniel Bryan, that, if Bryan gets pinned or is made to submit to the match, then he will ensure that Daniel Bryan is kicked off of NXT! The whole match came apart for The Miz & Daniel Bryan once Bryan had a heel hook locked in on David Otunga as, just as it looked like Otunga would tap out, The Miz opts to tag himself in! This prompts a confrontation between Miz & Bryan that results in R-Truth taking advantage of the distraction to hit Miz with a heel kick, followed by Otunga pinning The Miz to win the match for himself and his WWE Pro, R-Truth! After the match, The Miz got in the face of his NXT Rookie once again and, after feigning a slap to The Miz, Bryan stormed to the backstage area!

Backstage, NXT Host Matt Striker asks The Miz if Miz has let Daniel Bryan down instead of the other way around! Miz responds by saying that he is the United States Champion and one-half of the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, which prompts an interruption by Daniel Bryan, who tells his Pro that every partner that Miz has held the tag titles with has “carried” Miz and states that, if Miz is so great, then why was The Miz the one getting pinned in their tag match!

After getting apple spit in his face at the end of last week’s NXT, Rookie Heath Slater was out for revenge as he went one-on-one with WWE Pro, Carlito! In the end, it was Carlito’s underestimation of Heath Slater that led to his downfall as, after Christian took the apple of Carlito, Carlito took his eye off of the ball and found himself getting rolled up by Heath Slater en route to Slater picking up the upset victory over Carlito! How will Carlito and his NXT Rookie, Michael Tarver, respond to this loss?

Backstage, WWE Pro CM Punk gives his NXT Rookie, Darren Young, an ultimatum; either pledge his allegiance to the straightedge lifestyle and be successful or do things his “way” and see how things work out! Will Darren Young abandon all that he is in order to continue his tutelage under CM Punk or will Darren Young take his chances on paving his own way to WWE superstardom?

Then it was time for the main event as the NXT Rookie of World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, Wade Barrett, would go one-on-one with the NXT Rookie of Matt Hardy, Justin Gabriel! The exciting and lightning-quick Justin Gabriel was able to fell the bigger Wade Barrett by hitting the 450 Splash on Barrett en route to picking up the win! After the match was over, Chris Jericho entered the ring and blind-sided Matt Hardy; sending Hardy out of the ring! This left Gabriel all alone with Jericho as Jericho hit the Codebreaker on the NXT Rookie before torturing Gabriel in the Walls of Jericho! How will Matt Hardy & Justin Gabriel respond to this attack by Chris Jericho?

Mike Tenay and Taz chime in during a pre-show commercial break to say that the main event might just air first at the top of the hour.

Tenay and Taz opened the show amidst pyro and a wild crowd, as Hulk Hogan and Abyss made their way to the ring. Hogan was adorned in the red and yellow with boa. Hulk took the mic and talked about taking care of business, and called out Flair and AJ. They obliged. AJ and Flair entered, wearing the classic robes. Abyss and AJ started things, as AJ utilized speed, while Abyss countered with power. Chops and kicks landed by AJ, but Abyss countered with a high slam. Flair tagged in and after some Flair chops, Abyss retaliated and backdropped him. Things broke down and all four brawled, as the lights went out and Sting appeared in the ring, bat in hand. Sting cornered Flair and AJ, but turned on Hulk and Abyss, as he beat them with the bat. Sting, Flair and AJ beat on Hulk and Abyss with a chair, and just general physicality. Hulk wore the crimson mask, as he covered Abyss from further assault. Sting left, and AJ and Flair walked up the ramp. Hulk said they would still have their match, only now it will be a no disqualification match.

Commercial break

Recap of the previous carnage, then a backstage segment as Dixie confronted Sting on his way out. He told them that the three would have an X Division match...right now.

They went at it full force, as you would expect. No clear advantage, although Kazarian had some high spots. Doug Williams slowed things up a bit, and went to some power moves. Daniels took control over both men. Top rope double dropkick to Daniels and Willaims by Kazarian. After more back and forth action by all three, Williams landed chaos theory and retained his title. Suddenly, Shannon Moore hit the ring and knocked Williams around. Zone and nailed Sting and after ROLLING THUNDER pinned Sting in seconds. Sting beat RVD with the bat, leaving RVD laying in the ring. RVD stood up, and Sting re-entered and continued his assault. He walked the ramp and attacked the involved refs. He went back to the ring once again, and this time, after hitting RVD, Hulk came out, bloody, with Bubba trying to stop him. In ring, Sting hit RVD repeatedly, as Hulk tried to enter the ring, but security held him back. As security held Hulk on the apron, Sting delivered a bat shot to him. Then Sting followed Hulk and security up the ramp, and hit some security guys and Hulk again.

Tenay and Taz questioned Sting's actions.

Nash and Eric Young then came out. (A shot of Eric Bischoff sitting in a chair for some reason) Nash said he and Young have a contract for a match with Hall and Waltman and Destination X, per Hulk Hogan. Nash called them out to accept.

Commercial

Backstage: Waltman and Hall entered the building through the back. Nash and Young held center ring and awaited Waltman and Hall. Hall took the stick, calling Nask "Big Sellout" and said the only way they'd sign for the match is if they would be signed with TNA. Bischoff interjected, and said that if Hall and Waltman win the match at the ppv, they'd get their contracts. After some shit talking, Waltman slapped Young in the face. They had it out. He talked about Anderson's recent disrespect. Anderson came out and ran his mouth, and Kurt beat him up all over the iMPACT zone, and even the soldiers got some licks in on him. They threw him back into the ring, where Kurt hit the Olympic slam, and waved the flag before a rabid crowd.

commercial

backstage promo: Hulk talking with Bubba the Lovesponge, with Bubba trying to talk him out of the match tonight. Earl Hebner walked in and asked for a "second chance" - Hulk said things are out of control tonight, and he said no. Bubba said that of everybody in wrestling, Earl deserved a second chance. Hulk said he could ref the main event tag. It was announced that Abyss would face AJ for the world title at Destination X.

James Storm and Jeff Jarrett had words and Storm acknowledged Jeff's comments about Jeff giving him his first shot in TNA, and how he trained with Jerry Jarrett. Storm said it's all about what you've done for me lately, and you "ain't done nothin...sorry about your damn luck" Jeff punched him and Robert Roode hit Jeff, and Mick Foley yelled "take it to the ring"

commercial

Beer Money dished out a double team assault on Jeff, as Mick Foley handled the officiating. Handicapable match.

Jeff tried to hold his own to the best of his abilities, but Beer Money proved to be too much for him at every turn. Outside, Mick handed Jarrett a barbed wire bat from under the ring. Ref Slick Johnson grabbed the bat, and Beer Money took advantage of the distraction, and got the pin, as counted by Johnson.

Backstage, Hulk talked with Abyss, who encouraged Hulk to let him handle the match himself. Brooke entered and Abyss left. Brooke cried for her dad to atleast promise that this would be his very last match. He agreed.

backstage, Ric Flair and AJ psyched themselves up.

commercial

Ric and AJ made their way to the ring, followed by Hulk and Abyss.

Final commercial break

Hulk and Ric started the match, and took immediate control. They took it to the outside, and bloodied Flair after smashing his head into the rail. Hulk punched and stomped him. Flair was rather bloody. Back in the ring, the beating continued. AJ assisted, and Ric got the upper hand. AJ tagged in and beat a now re-bloodied Hulk. AJ and Ric continued a double team assault, until a top rope slam on Flair led to a hot tag to Abyss, who cleaned house. Flair and Hogan fought outside while Abyss and AJ mixed it up inside. All four in the ring as Hogan whipped AJ into Abyss who hit the Black hole slam for the pin. Desmond Wolfe suddenly blasted the winners with a chair. The Pope countered the beating, as did Jeff Hardy.

A great show - the war is on!

WWE RAW Results (3/8) - Bret Hart, Vince McMahon, John Cena, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, Wrestlemania 26

*This week's edition of Monday Night RAW opened with The Undertaker walking to the ring, with Michael Cole reminding us of the history between Taker and Shawn Michaels and their upcoming match at WrestleMania 26. Taker got on the mic and said that last week was sybolic of what HBK's life has become. He said since HBK became number 17 in the 17-0 undefeated streak at WrestleMania, HBK's life now has a dark cloud hovering over it and is unable to be shaken. Taker then said that HBK's obsession to rid himself of the cloud will cause him to rid himself of his career. Taker said that HBK needs to understand that there will be no sense of triumph and no victory, but only the same dark cloud that will hover above his head for the rest of his life. Taker said it brings him no joy in saying that in three weeks, HBK's career will rest in peace. Before Taker could finish, Shawn Michaels interrupted and walked to the ring. HBK said that Taker hasn't earned the right to finish his line tonight. He said it's been hanging over his head like a dark cloud week after week. HBK said he went to bed last week full of rage, but when he woke up, the dark cloud was gone. HBK said he had no choice but to cost Taker the World Heavyweight Championship at "Elimination Chamber", but that Taker didn't have to interfere in his and Triple H's match last week. HBK then said that in the heart of Taker lies fear. Taker then said if he were HBK, he would choose his next words very carefully. HBK then said "fear" because Taker is the only one who knows how close Shawn came to ending everything last year. He then said that Taker asked HBK to put his career on the line because he thought he could intimidate HBK, but that HBK isn't intimidated. HBK then told Taker that nothing lasts forever, and that he'll probe it at WrestleMania. Taker says he can't tell if he's looking at a man who exudes confidence or if he's really looking at a man who is full of pitiful desperation. HBK says he's not desperate, and that he would have taken anything last year to get the victory, but not this year with so much on the line. HBK then proposed that their WrestleMania match be no countout and no disqualification and that the only ways to win would be by pinfall or submission. It may be a dark match.

After that, they changed over the ring apron.

Chris Jericho cut a promo saying he's the best and didn't deserve what happened on Monday. Edge comes out and talked about how he's always spearing Jericho. Jericho hit Edge with the mic but Edge speared him again.

Dolph Ziggler d.
WWE NXT on SyFy Results for 2/23 - Debut Edition

MILWAUKEE – Eight NXT Rookies. Eight WWE Pros. One dream. WWE Universe, welcome to WWE NXT!

Throughout the coming weeks, eight NXT Rookies will try to prove they have the personality, charisma, talent and strength to win a Raw Superstar contract while being mentored by WWE Superstars. But which Pro will successfully pass on his knowledge and skills to the future of WWE?

World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho def. Daniel Bryan Daniel Bryan was certainly put to the test during his first night in front of the WWE Universe. The NXT Rookie faced the new World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho on the inaugural episode of Syfy’s new Tuesday night show. With his NXT Rookie, British bare-knuckle fighter Wade Barrett, in his corner, Jericho was victorious when Bryan tapped out to the Walls of Jericho. But Bryan wowed the WWE Universe with an impressive offensive arsenal of skills and submission moves, almost making Jericho tap out to a Heel Hook. Bryan even fearlessly dove head-first through the ring ropes at his opponent, crashing into the announce table. But it’s unlikely Bryan has learned his incredible skills from his Pro, The Miz. In addition to their explosive clash earlier in the night, The Miz attacked Bryan after his main event loss, calling him an embarrassment. But did The Miz beat some respect into his NXT Rookie, or just fuel the intense fire already burning inside Bryan?

David Otunga def. Darren Young
NXT Rookie David “A-List” Otunga brought his A-game to the WWE NXT premiere, picking up his first win in front of the WWE Universe. Under the guidance of his WWE Pro, R-Truth, Harvard Law graduate Otunga defeated Darren Young, who had an ornery CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Serena in his corner. The confident, charismatic and strong Otunga took just minutes to impressively defeat South Beach party boy Young. But the WWE Universe is left to wonder how Young will fare in WWE NXT when his Pro, Punk, is less than excited to mentor the NXT Rookie, that is, unless he’s ready to join the Straight Edge Society.

Christian & Heath Slater def. Carlito & Michael Tarver
Christian introduced the WWE Universe to his NXT Rookie, Heath Slater, a star who is ready to rock the WWE Universe. Slater proved to be a great tag team partner for Captain Charisma, assisting him by pulling Carlito out of the ring, allowing Christian to capitalize and hit Michael Tarver with a Killswitch for the victory. Tarver, who is known as “Mr. 1.9 Seconds” for his ability to quickly knockout his opponent, is being mentored by Carlito, who is sure the knowledge and skills he’ll pass on will make Tarver become the next breakout WWE Superstar.

An early clash
The premiere episode of WWE NXT kicked off with quite a clash between United States and Unified Tag Team Champion The Miz and his NXT Rookie, Daniel Bryan. Before sending Bryan to the ring to introduce himself, The Miz warned his NXT Rookie to expect anything, and that if he doesn’t show personality, he’d slap some into the “Internet darling.”Then, in front of the WWE Universe, Bryan poked fun at his mentor’s reality TV past, and pointed out that he’s been honing his skills all over the world for the last 10 years. Naturally, an angry Miz interrupted Bryan, and slapped his mentee, proving not all of the Pros and NXT Rookies will get along during season one of WWE NXT.

WWE RAW Results (2/22) - Wrestlemania 26, John Cena vs. Batista & More

Event: WWE Monday Night RAW
Airdate: Monday, February 22nd, 2010 (USA Network)
Location: The Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.
Results by 411 Mania

“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”

-Live from Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN

-Hosted by Michael Cole & Jerry "The King" Lawler

-New World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho comes out to open the show. Jericho proclaims proudly that he's going to Wrestlemania. He says ever since he was unfairly attacked by Mike Tyson a month ago he vowed to never returned to Raw despite being the face of the WWE and most valuable performer in the country. He changed his mind because last night he defeated five of the top superstars including the Undertaker, and has now beaten Taker twice in a row. He asks how many people can claim that, and says he can because he did. He repeats that he's the World Heavyweight Champion, and that he's going to Wrestlemania. Edge predictably interrupts, but instead of coming through the aisle he comes through the crowd and delivers a spear. Edge wastes no time announcing what we already knew. Jericho is indeed going to Wrestlemania, and he will be facing Edge.

-Lawler and Cole start to set up the show, but they are interrupted by an angry John Cena who heads to the ring selling a bit of the hell he went through last night. Cena says he can be added to the list of people who Vince McMahon has screwed. He says after Elimination Chamber he was the WWE Champion, but instead of celebrating he's mad as hell because of Vince McMahon. He says that's how Vince McMahon wants to business, and that's fine because he'll do business that way too. He says he gets a rematch, and he wants it right now. Vince struts out, and says the key word is business. He says he's all about business, and admits he made a business deal with Batista. He says doesn't want to soil his hands on a broken down has been like Bret Hart. He says Dave helped him out, and Vince helped him out and now Bret is resting his injured ankle up in Canada. In exchange for Batista's help Vince gave him a WWE Title match whenever he wanted. Vince says it's not personal its just business, and says this is Cena's fault. Cena told Batista if he wanted some to come get some, and Dave went and got him some. Cena says Vince hired a mercenary to take the WWE Title, but Cena is taking the thing back. Vince says that's in his dreams, because Batista won't defend the title until Wrestlemania. Vince says Cena is not the only one who has a rematch clause, because Sheamus also deserves a shot. Vince says he's going to put Cena in a match, and if Cena wins then he will face Batista for the WWE Title. If Cena loses then Sheamus goes to Wrestlemania to face Batista, and Cena can watch from the skybox. Cena pleads with Vince to tell him who the opponent is, and Vince responds that it will be Batista.

WWE Diva's Championship Tournament Finals: Maryse vs. Gail Kim
Gail rolls up Maryse for two, but Maryse responds by whipping her to the corner. Gail heads to the apron, and the comes inside with a clothesline for two. Gail delivers a European uppercut, and delivers a running shoulderblock in the corner. Gail goes for Eat Defeat, but Maryse blocks it by grabbing the rope and delivers a kick to the face for two. Maryse goes for the French kiss which is blocked into a rollup by Gail for two. Gail heads to the top rope for a crossbody, but Maryse moves out of the way and now both girls are down. Maryse goes for the French Kiss, but again Gail counters into a small package for two. Gail delivers a back elbow, and goes for a victory roll. Maryse counters the victory roll and drops Gail across the top rope. This allows her to hit the French Kiss to pick up the victory at 2:49. Folks we waited two months for this classic tournament final.
Winner: NEW WWE Diva's Champion-Maryse (Pinfall-French Kiss DUD)

-Ty Murray hangs out with the Bella Twins, while Jewel (who is on crutches) chats it up with Kelly Kelly and Eve. They hype a diva bull riding competition for later, and Jillian and Alicia Fox shows up. You know the punchline. Jillian tries to sing, and she's terrible. Jillian says if Jewel doesn't show her some respect she's going to send her back to living in her car. Jewel takes the advice of her good friend Sharon Osborne, and smacks her. Wow, just wow.

-Cody tries to explain himself to Orton, and talks about how he meant for the pipe to be used to by Orton. He says he heard Ted talk all week about how he wanted to win. Orton says it's all his fault, because he taught them too well. He says they need to be a team now, and that's why he asked for the six man tonight. They've come too far, and he wants Cody to tell Ted that he's sorry. Dibiase shows up after Orton leaves, and wants to know how it went. Cody says it went well. Almost too well. Ted wants to know if they're sticking to the plan, and Cody responds "absolutely." Intrigue abounds.

Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, & Yoshi Tatsu vs. Legacy & Randy Orton
Dibiase starts the match with Tatsu, and delivers a boot to the mid section. Yoshi delivers a pair of armdrags, and tags in Bourne who comes in with a sliding kick to the face for two. Bourne goes for a suplex, but Dibiase counters into one of his own and tags in Rhodes. Bourne delivers a series of kicks to the hamstrings, and rolls up Rhodes for a one count. Bourne delivers a shoulderblock in the corner, but charges into a back elbow. Bourne comes back with a short clothesline, and heads to the top rope looking for Air Bourne but he is met by Rhodes. Cody delivers an Alabama Slam off the top for a two count as we head to commercial.

We return with Dibiase delivering a rebound clothesline to Bourne for a two count. Bourne fights back with a double knee to the face putting both men down, and that allows the hot tag to Kofi. He delivers a series of chops and a jumping clothesline to DIbiase. Kofi goes for the boom drop, but as Cody distracts the referee Orton pulls him down from the apron. Orton then tags in legally, and delivers a bodyslam. Orton delivers a European uppercut and a kneedrop before grabbing a chinlock. Kofi fights back, but Orton delivers the inverted backbreaker to put a stop to that. Orton looks a Cody and then turns on him delivering the hangman's DDT. Dibiase asks what that's all about, and gets an RKO on the floor before walking out. Meanwhile back inside Yoshi tags in and sets up Rhodes in the corner. He tags in Bourne for the Air Bourne to finish at 9:51. Well they FINALLY pulled the trigger on the Legacy breakup, but appear to be keeping Cody and Ted together for now. Interesting to see how they work the Mania match.
Winners: Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, & Yoshi Tatsu (Bourne pins Rhodes-Air Bourne **1/2)

-Shawn says he's not going to take up a lot of our time, because his explanation is not all that complicated. He said he did what he had to do, and what he needed to do. He says he knows what he's done is not all that popular, but that is something he's willing to live with. He says he's heard the rumors of Undertaker being here tonight, and he knows with every action there is a reaction. He says with the Undertaker he's not just hoping for a reaction, but he's counting on it. Shawn is interrupted by Undertaker's Dong! Taker walks out wearing his throwback Attitude Era jacket, and it should be noted his fire pyro goes off but not until he's halfway down the ramp. No more walking through the flames of hell. Taker says Shawn wanted his attention, and now he has it. Shawn says last year people said they had the greatest match in Wrestlemania history, and some people said they had the greatest match ever. Shawn says as flattering as that is Taker has to understand he wrestled a nearly perfect match, and one mistake cost him everything. He says Taker should know that's one thing he cannot live with. Shawn begged Taker for a rematch, and Taker refused. He ignored him, and didn't leave him any choice but to cost him the World Heavyweight Championship. He says he knows Taker is angry at him, and he knows he can't wait to get his hands on him. Shawn says that's okay, and asks Taker to face him at Wrestlemania to get his revenge. Taker accepts the challenge, but its on one condition. This year Shawn has to put up something as well. Taker says if Shawn defeats him he ends the streak, but if Taker beats Shawn his career is over. Shawn says Taker doesn't get it. If he can't beat him at Wrestlemania then he has no career. Shawn accepts the condition, and that match is set. Well you wanted to know how they could top last year? How's that? Its either a streak breaker or a career breaker.

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Christian vs. Carlito
Carlito runs to the ring, and we hear from both guys rookies they will mentor on NXT. Pretty generic promos for the most part. Christian delivers a right hand sending Carlito to the apron, but Carlito answers with a DDT as he falls to the floor. Back inside Carlito buries a pair of shoulderblocks in the corner, and catches Christian charging with a back elbow. Christian comes back with a flapjack, and chokes out Carlito on the second rope. Christian hits a missile dropkick for two, and then delivers a backdrop. Christian goes for a crossbody which misses, but comes right back with an inverted DDT for two. Christian heads to the second rope, but gets caught and pulled off. Carlito hits a swinging neckbreaker for two, and goes for the backstabber. Christian counters into the killswitch, but Carltio pushes out and goes for a springboard back elbow. Christian catches him coming off the ropes going for another killswitch, but again Carlito counters sending Christian to the corner. Carlito comes at Christian, but this time Christian connects with the killswitch for the win at 3:01. About as much awesome as you could pack into three minutes. Carlito looked motivated which is always a good thing.
Winner: Christian (Pinfall-Killswitch **3/4)

-Jewel and Ty Murray come out, and she thinks that this is a very macho sport. So is bull riding so here comes the divas. I usually try really hard not to be "that guy" but this has no business on a wrestling show. Eve comes out and rides the slowest mechanical bull ever successfully. Kelly Kelly is next, and she too is able to manage the bull. Both Bellas are also able to successfully navigate the bull, and thankfully Show-Miz are out to save this crap. Miz says this show revolves around the unified Tag Team Champions, and not a bull riding competition. Show says its not even that hard, and Ty Murray doesn't think Show can do it. That of course leads to Show getting on the bull, and of course getting quickly bucked off. Miz doesn't think that was fair, as it wasn't going that fast when the divas were riding it. The mechanical bull "taunts" the Big Show, and despite Miz's pleas to walk away Show goes over and KO's the bull. Miz calls the guest hosts just another disappointment like the Colts in the Super Bowl and get ready to head out. Jewel and Murray tell them they're not going anywhere as they have to defend the titles next against the Kool-Aid twins. Words can't describe how bad this was. It's pretty bad when Miz can't save a segment.

Unified WWE Tag Team Chamionship: The Big Show & The Miz © vs. Mark Henry & Montel Vontavious Porter
We see Daniel Bryan taking a closer look at Miz in the locker room. Henry comes out all wrapped up selling his shoulder injury from his collision with the barricade last night. MVP and Miz start things off and MVP hits a backdrop. Miz quickly tags out to Show who gets hit with a series of right hands, and delivers a cheap shot knocking Miz off the apron. Show comes back with a spear and throws MVP into the corner where delivers a series of open handed chops. Show hits a standing legdrop and tags in Miz who delivers a knee to the lower back. Miz locks in a rear chinlock, but hits the ropes running into a big boot from MVP. Both big men tag in, and Henry gets the better of the exchange with a series of headbutts. Henry delivers an avalanche, but he injures his shoulder on the move. Miz comes off the top rope, but gets caught with the World's Strongest Slam. Show is still the legal man however, and he delivers the knockout punch to pick up the win at 2:46. I believe this runs MVP's record against Miz lately to roughly 1-104.
Winners: STILL Unified WWE Tag Team Champions-The Big Show & The Miz (Show pins Henry-KO Punch **)

-Hell has frozen over. Wendi Richter is the newest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame. Deserving choice, but as the victim of the original screwjob I never thought I'd see the day.

-Vince has a statement in which he wants to let Bret know that he was really looking forward to facing him at Wrestlemania. He says he was looking forward to the competition, but wants to deny having any responsibility for his actions. He invites Bret back next week, and says he'll have an ambulance to get him to the arena, a wheelchair to get to the ring, and a hydraulic lift to get into the ring. Bret deserves this moment to say a proper farewell.

Batista vs. John Cena

Back from the break and out comes John Cena for the main event. If Cena wins, he gets the WWE Title shot at WrestleMania. If he loses, Sheamus gets the shot. Cena enters the ring and waits a minute or more for Batista to come out. Finally out comes the new WWE Champion Batista for this non-title match.

Batista stalls as he enters the ring. The bell rings and here we go. Cena charges but Batista goes to the ropes and the referee intervenes. Cena charges again but Batista is playing games. Cena gets caught off guard and Batista hits him below the belt. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner by DQ: John Cena

- After the match, Batista mocks Cena as he lay on the mat. Batista runs and kicks Cena in the head. Batista starts stomping away on Cena as the crowd boo's him. Batista hops out of the ring smiling and starts heading up the ramp. He turns around and climbs back in and throws Cena into the ring post. Cena falls out to the floor. Batista comes out and works over Cena, ramming him into the ring post. Batista leaves Cena laying on the floor and walks to the back as the crowd boo's. WWE officials rush over to check on Cena. Batista comes back down the ramp and chases off the trainers. He grabs a steel chair and heads back to Cena. Batista smacks Cena in the back with the chair and just stands over him. Cena tries to get up and Batista hits him with the chair again. Cena tries to get up again but gets hit with the chair one more time. Cena tries to get up yet again but Batista knocks him back to the floor with the chair. Batista starts walking up the ramp with the chair to more heat. WWE officials rush back to Cena as we go to replays. RAW goes off the air with the crowd booing Batista still.

WWE Elimination Chamber Results 2/21 Results - Chris Jericho & Batista, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, John Cena, Randy Orton

- The 2010 WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view kicks off with a video about the Road to WrestleMania and the Chamber itself. We go to the arena where the pyro explodes and Michael Cole welcomes us to the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The Elimination Chamber starts lowering over the ring for our first match.

WWE Elimination Chamber for the WWE Title: Sheamus vs. John Cena vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. Kofi Kingston

The Chamber lowers over the ring as Justin Roberts goes over the rules for this match. Out first comes John Cena to a big pop from the St. Louis crowd.

Out next is Ted DiBiase, who gets boo'd. Randy Orton is out next and he gets a massive pop from his hometown crowd. Ted, Cena and Orton all enter their separate pods and are locked away. Out next is Triple H to a pretty big pop also. Triple H enters his pod as Kofi Kingston makes his way out. Out last is the WWE Champion Sheamus, who taunts those in the pods. It will be Sheamus and Kofi starting things out.

Sheamus goes for the big kick right off the bat, but Kofi moves and comes back with a flurry of offense of his own. Kofi hits a crossbody for a near fall, and a beautiful dropkick for another near fall. Kofi works over Sheamus with a series of fairly stiff kicks, but it's still not enough to keep the Champion down. Sheamus comes back with a clubbing blow across Kofi's back and a knee to the head. Sheamus hits a European uppercut, but Kofi is quick to fight back. Kofi kicks Sheamus square in the chest, but he immediately falls victim to a back elbow and a big shoulder block.

Sheamus tries to hip toss Kofi over the ropes, but Kofi lands on his feet, delivers and enzugiri, and executes a springboard crossbody that's good for a two count. Sheamus reverses a whip into the corner, but he walks right into a big kick from Kofi. Sheamus takes Kofi down to the mat and pounds away on him, he tries for a quick pin, but he can't hold Kingston down for three. Sheamus tries to choke Kingston and rub his face into the mat. Kofi rolls to the outside and Sheamus follows. Kofi is able to put up a bit of a fight, but Sheamus backs him up into one of the pods and put him down. Sheamus hits a uranage backbreaker, but it's still not good enough for three.

The timer counts down, and the first entrant into the match is Triple H. Hunter has a big smile on his face. He walks out of the pod and stares Sheamus down.

Sheamus and Triple H come toe to toe staring each other down. Sheamus goes for a punch, but Hunter blocks and unloads with a couple of his own. Sheamus goes low with a knee, but it's not good enough to keep down Hunter, who comes back with a high knee, and a knee drop. Hunter hits a clothesline in the corner, and pounds on Sheamus for a bit, before stomping for a little bit. Hunter hits a short arm clothesline, but it's only good for a near fall. Hunter throws Sheamus over the top rope out to the steel grate. Hunter tries to throw Sheamus into the Chamber, but Sheamus blocks, Sheamus tries but Hunter blocks and he clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope.

Back in the ring, Sheamus goes for a razor's edge out of nowhere, but Hunter reverses into a DDT. Kofi is back in and he's going to work on both men, chopping each before hitting a dropkick on Sheamus, and whipping Hunter into Sheamus in the corner. Kofi launches himself up to hit nine punches on Sheamus in the corner before connecting with a leaping lariat. Kofi hits a slingshot boom drop over the top rope to the outside on Hunter. Sheamus takes Kofi out, out of nowhere, and it's good for a near fall. The clock ticks down again, and the next entrant is Randy Orton.

Orton goes right to work on everyone, then focuses his attention on Sheamus, stomping away. Orton hits a knee drop on Sheamus, and he tries for a cover but he only gets a two count. Orton tosses Sheamus over the top rope and he hits a quick kick to Hunter's ribs. Orton goes to the outside, where he slams Sheamus against the Chamber wall three times in a row. Hunter comes out and he too goes into the Chamber three times at the hands of Orton. Orton chokes Sheamus with his boot for a bit, before going to work on Hunter with a couple of right hands. Kingston comes out of nowhere with a huge slingshot crossbody. Kingston tries for another springboard crossbody back in the ring on Orton, but Orton counters with a dropkick.

Hunter is now back in this with right hands, and a face buster to Orton, but Orton comes back with a big powerslam. Orton looks to be setting up for the RKO on Hunter. Orton goes for it, but Hunter pushes him into Kofi. Kofi tries for TIP, but Orton ducks. Orton tries for the RKO on Kofi, but Kofi pushes him into an almost pedigree. Orton backdrops Hunter over the top rope to counter, the backdrops Kofi over the top rope. On the outside, Orton goes after Sheamus, but he ends up being backed up into the ring post. The clock counts down again and the next entrant is Ted Dibiase.

Dibiase goes right to work on Sheamus, Kingston, then Triple H, hitting Hunter with a couple of fist drops. Dibiase goes over to Orton in the corner and he offers his hand after a bit of a staredown. It looks like Legacy may be working together. Orton and Dibiase go right to work on Hunter, stomping away on him in the corner. They the turn their attention to Sheamus, pounding away, and hitting a series of knees, before Orton throws him shoulder first into the ring post. Dibiase chokes Kingston against the bottom rope. Orton picks up Kofi and he tries to shove Kingston's head through the Chamber wall, eventually succeeding and wrenching at his neck, before Dibiase locks in a Boston crab while Orton kicks away.

Legacy stare Cena down outside of his pod, and decide to wait out the last 10 seconds outside of his door. Cena fights his way out with no problem, taking down Dibiase and tossing Orton in the ring before coming alive with a series of flying shoulder blocks and a belly to back suplex. Cena connects with the five knuckle shuffle on Orton, and a throwback and top rope rocker dropper to Dibiase. Cena goes for the AA on Dibiase, using him as a battering ram on Orton. Dibiase grabs the ropes, so Cena AA's him over the ropes. Orton lightly tosses Cena to the outside, and he follows. Orton tries to send Cena into the Chamber wall, but Cena reverses. Back in the ring, Cena locks in the STF on Dibiase, but Orton is able to break it up and hit his nasty backbreaker.

Cody Rhodes runs down to ringside and tosses a pipe into the Chamber. Orton goes for the RKO on Cena, but Cena reverses into the AA. Dibiase uses the pipe and accidentally hits Orton, then hits Cena. Dibiase looks at both men, and pins Orton, getting the three count.

Orton has been eliminated.

Orton and Dibiase share a staredown while Orton makes his way to the back. Sheamus goes to work on Kofi on the outside, but when he tries to come back in the ring with what looks to be a spinebuster, Kingston reverses, and hits the TIP on Dibiase. Kofi goes for the pin and gets the three.

Dibiase is eliminated.

Right away, Sheamus hits his big boot, follows it up with the razor's edge, pins Kofi, and gets the three count.

Kingston is eliminated.

Sheamus turns his attention to Cena, working him over with strikes. Cena gets Sheamus in AA position out of nowhere, but Sheamus fights out.
