HWA management received word from The Sorg early Wednesday afternoon that the ring at The Sorg was broke on Tuesday night and will not be fixed until this weekend, which means our scheduled event for tonight, Wednesday September 1st has been cancelled.

We apologize to every one for this inconvenience and we hope you'll join us next Wednesday September 8th when we celebrate two years at The Sorg.

Matches for next week's anniversary celebration will be announced in the coming days. Tickets for this special event will still be just $5 and bell time will be 7:30 PM.

1/2 of the M1W Tag Team Champions Johnny Goodtime vs. Jason Watts
- After suffering his first loss in singles action at M1W to the M1W Champion Willie Mack, Jason Watts is looking to bounce back and prove he deserves another shot at the M1W Championship by taking on another title holder in M1W in one-half of the M1W Tag Team Champions, Johnny Goodtime.

Los Luchas (Phoenix Star & Zokre) vs. TJ Perkins & Rocky Romero
- With the Tag Team Title scene in M1W heating up, both of these teams are looking to become the first challengers to whomever makes it out of the eventually RockNES Monsters vs. Scorpio Sky & Joey Ryan Championship match.

1/2 of the M1W Tag Team Champions Johnny Yuma vs. Scorpio Sky
- In a rematch from last week where things became very heating between not only these men, but their tag team partners as well when Johnny Yuma was able to score a roll up victory after Sky's attention was diverted to action between Goodtime & Ryan. Scorpio Sky made a challenge to this rematch to prove his loss was a fluke.

Nick Madrid vs. Brandon Parker
- The blood has been brewing for weeks between these two, trading wins back and forth in both singles and tag team matches and they are looking to settle things once and for all in this encounter.

"Pretty" Peter Avalon vs. Ruben Iglesias
- Ruben Iglesias has been on quite a roll since he began using the power balance band and this match has come about because during the streak, Iglesias was able to score a pinfall over Avalon in 6-man tag team action and wants to parlay this success into singles action as well.

James Morgan vs. Jaysin Strife
- James Morgan has been lost since losing his final shot at Willie Mack for the M1W Championship but has requested a match for this week, and the M1W has granted his wish but has granted it against a very tough challenge in Jaysin Strife.

Jarek Matthews vs. Mike Meyers
- It has been several weeks since M1W has seen either man and both are coming back and looking to gain success in the M1W ring.

While definitely an odd pairing, this match was made at the behest of Corino to prepare for the NYC double chain match. Prince Nana offered the following statement, “This is the new beginning for The Embassy my friends. It’s all coming together and there is more coming soon. Just you wait…just you wait.”

“The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels has a prophecy that his name will become synonymous with the phrase “best wrestler in the world”. Within that prophecy are two necessary steps to accomplish that goal: (1) compete in Ring of Honor & (2) win the ROH World Title.

Daniels had accomplished the first step many years ago, main eventing the first ROH show back in 2002, but he never reached the second step during his original tenure here in ROH. After a forced hiatus in 2004, Daniels returned at “Death Before Dishonor III” in an attempt to achieve that destiny and take the title from then-champion CM Punk. Once again The Fallen Angel was unable to fulfill his gospel before another forced hiatus that only recently ended at “The Big Bang”.

Since his return to ROH competition, Daniels has been on a tear in pursuit of his goal to be ROH World Champion and earn the label of “best in the world”. He has bested Kevin Steen, Eddie Edwards, and Roderick Strong among others in recent months and has taken ROH World Champion Tyler Black to his limit during a recent “ROH on HDNet” TV taping.

Now with Tyler Black looking to depart Ring of Honor with the World Title still in his possession, Christopher Daniels will have another go with the ROH World Champion when ROH comes to Plymouth, MA on September 10, 2010! With Black set to defend the title against Roderick Strong the following night at “Glory by Honor IX”, this bout has been declared a non-title affair by ROH officials but a victory here, compounded with a win over Roderick Strong during the HDNet TV Tapings could set “The Fallen Angel” up as the first man to challenge for the belt after September 11th. That is if Tyler doesn’t find a way out of NYC with the title belt still in his possession.

Can Daniels’ take the next step on the road to achieving his “destiny”? Or will Tyler Black continue to show the world why he considers himself the “best wrestler in the world”?
