Report: Shawn Michaels to Retire At WrestleMania 26?

Shawn Michaels has been telling friends as of late he plans on retiring at WrestleMania. His contract is set to expire soon and he has talked about wanting to spend more time with his children as they grow up.
Michaels himself has made noise about retiring in recent years, to the point that WWE actually scripted jokes about it on Raw. After taking time off in 2008, he made noise about deciding not to come back. Like previous times he'd taken time off, WWE would call him back to return and he would. He also said in a radio interview last year that he had told the company his retirement date (which at the time was this year's WrestleMania). On the other hand, he's brought up the idea of wrestling well into his fifties, though only a match or two per year.
Michaels is not advertised for any shows past the night after WrestleMania when Raw emanates from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

You people make me laugh.. Fighting over what show is better. Face it wrestling sucks now. The product is so watered down now. For all if you who love WWE the worse thing to ever happen to the WWE was WCW going broke. The new wrestlers the past 3 years all suck. Tell me who is a good entertainer in the WWE or TNA that has been around for 3 years or less. I'll tell you how nad the newer guys are not 1 guy is a headliner @ any of the PPV's. Cena either wrestles Jericho, HHH, Big show etc etc.. Wrestling has hit ROCK BOTTOM like its fans...

even if Shawn Michaels goes to TNA (imo no chance) there ratings will stay much the same....TNA is trying to find an audience that doesn`t exist....for the most part there are two types of fans....WWE fans and wrestling fans...WWE fans only watch WWE and say everything else is crap (WWE snobbery) wrestling fans watch WWE...TNA etc any type of wrestling show that they enjoy but without being biased

Sean is going HOME andstaying off the road and be with his kids maybe train a few guys at his school and enjoy the good life that he's made for himself and his family and maybe show up at an event or two when they swing into San Antonio. Unlike Hogan and Flair he doesnt need TNA's money he's made good investments and can afford to not wrestle. Not everyone that RETIRES from WWE is going to go to TNA to live out thier golden years and die in the ring.

ok so TNA fans r so proud of the TNA roster.... great wrestlers, great show, great everything... but all TNA fans go crazy when they hear that WWE is releasing some of the wrestlers, why r u so judgemental on the wrestlers in WWE and then go all yea they r the best when they join TNA... ppl they r the same TNA or WWE... so every die hard TNA fan is now just waiting to see HBK in TNA... why, if the WWE product is so crap why would u like some of their wrestlers????.... Bottom line is that fans r on a win win situation, if u dont like WWE u have alternatives, if u dont like TNA u also have something to watch... both r crap at the moment, but at least when we combine the two shows we get one good one

And again with the TNA/WWE war. When will it get through your thick skull that neither are doing too well as opposed to before. TNA tries to relive the glory days of wrestling by bringing in old stars or stars that never were (I'm looking at you, Nasty Boys). WWE goes into an entirely different direction that results in a considerably slimmed product that only those who never knew better will enjoy. If you want less bullshit, more wrestling, watch puro or indies. If you want entertainment and great wrestling, look for CHIKARA Pro. Also, HBK in TNA = fat chance. They'll have to offer him a boatload of money.

The reason HBK is losing ponder is because it is tradition, you lose on your last match with the company and I do't think we will ever see HBK in another company, and "Get Real" has a point, and I agree with him lol.
