Hi, Bret Hart was on the sports talk show "Off the Record" on TSN in Canada today.

Segment 1: He said he came back mainly because he thought it would be fun. The why not outweighed the whys. He said it was never about the money. He had a cast on his leg on the show still selling his 'broken leg.' He mentions that the hardest part of being retired is most of his friends have died likeOwen, Bulldog and Mr. Perfect. Bret said the wrestlers of today are much more focused and well behaved than his generation.

Segment 2: The host asked Bret about a number of wrestlers. Here's basically what he said:

Shawn Michaels-He forgives Shawn to a certain degree. They talked the afternoon of Bret's return. Said everything they said was very sincere and now with the weight off of each others shoulders they get along as much as they did before Survivor Series 97'.

Triple H-Only seen each other a couple of times and barely talked, said like is too strong of a word to describe how he feels about him.

Ric Flair-Feels sorry for him. Flair chose wrestling when he should have stopped and went home to his family, but never left wrestling and his family moved on. All he knows is the wrestling life of the locker room, airports and bars.

In the online segment Bret discusses breaking his hand punching Vince after the screw job and receiving a call in the hospital after his stroke from Vince.

Talked about how much he can do for Wrestlemania saying the biggest risk is injuring his head. Bret says don't expect the old Hitman in the ring, but he will still entertain his fans with the match.

@Warrior Wrath: That's the smartest thing I've read all day. I've said many times that WWE has been going down the toilet while TNA gets better, but like you said its all wrestling. If they weren't competing against each other I'd enjoy both shows.

now that im 18 i can finally say kids these days who the hell cares jesus christ its wrestling 8 years ago when TNA came out I was jumping for joy because there was MORE WRESTLING TO WATCH i mean too small guys and old veterans the WWE is the same fucking way but idc you know why b/c as long as there are at least 3 good matches(which each company does week to week) then the show is fine damn kids complain about everything its wrestling watch it or don't

Bischoff can't structure a wrestling card. Vince Russo is a self loathing SOB. Hogan misses cues. Hall is a bloated substance abuser. Waltman is a woman beater. Flair couldn't fight in a nursing home(which he belongs). Angle is in a bunch of WWE rip offs. He is talented but let drugs rule his life and stalked some woman. Let Jeff Jarrett take his wife and still stays in the company (ODD). Hardy left WWE due to burn out and then the police took numerous narcotics out of his house. RVD is a EGO maniac drug addict with tons of talent but choses his ego and drugs over his JOB. Only good wrestler in TNA is Samoa Joe and Guess what He is being pushed aside for what? A child's Cartoon with the Hogan WWE HOF ring on ABYSS. Sure abyss can wrestle but not well. TNA has TAZ a no count half ass talking unentertaining commentator. Nasties are so old and fat that when they do an interview they can't do it with out even sweating. Stings CROW gimmick was played out circa 1998. Nash is a one move, Father time, wonder. All the other guys are too small to wrestle. Hey Rey Mysterio is small but He has worked on his body and can wrestle like the big guys. Team 3d has nerve to call Nasties FAT? WOW and they want to use a oil tycoons daughter to boost ratings and go head to head with WWE on Monday Nights? Monday Night War 2? Not even close. TNA is screwed and off TV by years end. Second Best Wrestling company in America----Ring OF Honor and Jim Cornette.
