WWE Considering WCW Theme for 2011 Hall of Fame Ceremony

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE may base next year's Hall of Fame induction ceremony on a WCW theme, on account of WrestleMania 27 will be held in Atlanta, GA, where WCW was based from.

Some names being considered by WWE for induction into the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame are Lex Luger, The Steiner Brothers, The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom, and, assuming he's no longer working for TNA, Sting. Other notable WCW names are also being considered for induction as well.

This idea has not been official confirmed as of yet, but Wrestling-Radio.com will keep you posted as we learn more information.

I can see the OG Horsemen Arn Anderson Tully Blanchard and Ole Anderson and JJ Dillon and Ric Flair getting and Stenier Brothers and Freebirds and Rock and RollExpress Midnight Express all them can go in the Hall Fame that be awesome

One Person is missing - how about Dean Malenko? Eddie's already in Flair's already in, Benoit can never go in, currently, so Malenko's gotta be a favourite...

man if this line up for the hall of fame actually became true, it will be awesome. mcmahon should put like ted turner, jj dillion, ole & arn anderson, tully blancard..lod shouldve been hall of famers when wrestlemania came to chicago their hometown couple years ago. luger deserves it too. barely a world champion but a true face of wcw. i'll put him up to the level of sting and flair.

The Road warriors would be awesome HOF inductee's. Luger would be decent. Double A Arn Anderson the Enforcer would be great and well deserve. Sting!!!! That would be something. How about this one. The Great Muta! That would be a stretch but would be cool to see.

WCW wasn't WCW with one person, Chris Benoit but of course they won't do that it'll make them look bad.

Yeah, the Legion of Doom has been long overdue for a well-deserved induction. But the Steiner Brothers? Brothers who have traveled the road of "fuck ups" farther than any mortal being ever did? I'd rather give Arn Anderson and DDP the nod in. DDP has been treated like a joke in the WWE, might as well induct him to make up for WWE's lack of respect towards him during his active career.
