Update on Randy Orton Spitting Gum at a Young Fan, RAW Rating

Posted by: Wrestling-Radio.com

- According to Bilfy a Wrestling-Radio.com fan close by to  "gum spitting incident" that Randy Orton is suppose to have done the following took place:

In regards to the Randy Orton / Kowloon conflict, me and my friends were standing at the doorway where this "incident" took place, and we did not see any spit fly in the air. He did respond to a woman and said something that got fans alittle angry, "So sue me" he said, then Orton proceeded to turn around and walk back to his vehicle keeping quiet to himself as a few fans were yelling obscene derogatory names and challenging him to a fight (oh tough guys huh?) So he may have been rude but honestly, he went there to eat, and to leave. Even if Orton does have a reputation for not being one of the most friendly wrestlers in the world, he did not spit in anyones face.

- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports the RAW rating is 3.6 cable rating. The show did hours of 3.52 and 3.63.

People are just gonna have to live with Orton's characteristics. He probably doesn't want to be bothered by people. Those fans got to leave the man alone.

People have become soft, veritable puppets of the P.C. landscape. I remember hearing stories of, in the '80's, Roddy Piper and The Iron Sheik having to be snuck out of arenas by security and other wrestlers for inciting so much heel heat. Orton rocks!

Randy Orton was just being a heel, which is good, for his character, There's two types of wrestlers, wrestlers fans pay to see, or wrestlers fans pay to see get beat up, the more hated the more money.

I ask and if they say no I say ok no problem. It really doesnt hurt to ask, unless they are being hounded by alot of people at the moment.

suspension of disbelief...Some people take their persona off camera. Don't assume that a wrestler is going to be all nice just because the cameras aren't rolling or you think that their heel persona is just a cover. I agree with andrew on his comment too.

RKO is the man!

Even if he did pit at the kid, it serves the kid right for bothering one of the wrestlers in one of the few safe havens they have. You dont bother wrestlers in 3 places: Restauraunts, Airports and hotels.
